DH made me breakfast in bed and bought me roses. LO got me two tickets to see Zac Brown Band this summer! I'm so excited!

We celebrated yesterday :). We went and picked up sushi and had a picnic in the park. Then, we went for ice cream at my favorite ice cream place. DH and B got me a framed photo off and B and a bunch of frames so I can do a gallery wall of B's newborn photos.
Today, we are taking my mom to lunch and going to the petting zoo!

They are downstairs cooking breakfast right now. They got me a new iPhone 5s and flowers. Best Mother's Day ever!

Good! R slept great last night, no whinny wake ups, slept till 645, but then DH got up and I slept in till 830. He made me breakfast. Now I am watching TV while they both nap.

DH has promised to do all the dishes that are currently in our sink and it is scary looking so that is a good start to my day!
If the weather stays nice we are going to the gym in a bit and then to a local vendor/flea market event later in the afternoon. I saw on their Facebook page that moms get one free drink from their bar. A new location of a local ice cream shop opened this weekend and they are doing free scoops for moms so we might just have to celebrate the grand opening. It would be wrong not to! I just want to get out and spend some time outside with my men.

D gave me a birdhouse and wind chimes for a gift. M won't let me nap, but that's ok, I missed him this week. DH hasn't really done much, but he did a lot this week, so I'm gonna give him a pass (but make him take care of dinner tonight!)

So far, so good. DD STTN until 6:45 then DH got up after I nursed her and I slept until 9:00. Woke up to some of my favorite things - flowers, books, massage GC, and booze!
Lol, the guy got me a 60 of tequila from Costco "so I can make margaritas this summer". I really have no idea what he was thinking with that one. I haven't drank that much tequila in my life...

Glad we celebrated at the beach on Friday, because AF arrived today & she is a real B. Spending the day laying on the couch watching 'toons with my girl.

DD saved her first steps for mother's day! DH made breakfast and he bought a TV for our garage workout area. And we still have a whole day ahead of us!

but I did sleep in and DH and Cobi made me breakfast in bed -
Quiet! My parents took LO's yesterday afternoon for a sleepover at their house and DH worked last night so he's asleep. I ate cereal while watching HGTV haha.
DH gave me a gift yesterday though and he'll wake up soon so we can meet my parents and LO's at church.

It has been pouring down rain all day so we have been inside. But! The baby and I had an unheard of 3 hour nap together.

Mine is okay, J is sick. DH made me cinnamon rolls. My brother and I surprised my mom at her place and made her fave breakfast. Now J is napping and I'm watching tv eating junk food (which is exactly what I WANT to be doing!)

I am going to join the sob story. I spent the morning crying on the couch. Which I am sure is partially due to being overtired and a little hangry, but my older daughter has just been mean today. And I can't manage to shake off her words. They are stinging!

It's been ok. Started out bad bc DH told me we weren't doing anything special bc I'm not his mother. Then he surprised me because he actually DID do something super sweet... But I was mad about this morning so that put a damper on it. Dang him.

pretty good. DH let me sleep in even thought I couldn't sleep. Made me cinnamon rolls. He got me a funny card and an iPhone 5s (he gave me the phone Thursday). Played with DS all morning then got dressed and painted my nails. We are going to lunch then the mall so I can look for work clothes. Then we are are going to DH's grandma's house which will suck because her and 2 of his aunts smoke in the house.

Sure you can't come take a vacation in the beautiful mountains of eastern Tennessee? Not bad here! DH and LO made me a cute Mother's Day iMovie set to one of our favorite songs. He also got me an iPad. Which is generous but also a little weird since I barely have time to use the one I already have (?) "But this one has cellular data! And the retina display!" he yelps. Ha.
But the real treat was that I got to do some desperately needed shoe shopping allllll by myself!

We've had a nice day. Babe got up at 5, but I got to sleep until about 8. Our families came over and we had brunch, then walked to the playground. I planted some flowers while babe napped and my husband did the dishes....now we are getting ready to go wash ramps/play in the water. 75 degrees and sunny! Oh, and I picked up steak and red wine for dinner! Mmmm

Pretty good! LO slept in until 9:30(?!?!), DH got up with her and I rolled out of bed at 10. DH and LO gave me a beautiful card with a gift certificate to my favorite spa for a facial. We then went to Costco - I never get to go because the crowd on the weekend drives DH crazy, but he sucked it up today
LO is napping now and DH is making his famous queso for a birthday BBQ we're going to after LO wakes up. Happy, happy day.

Good! DH got up with DS both at 3:30 and 6:30 so I could sleep in a bit...until 7:30. He made me breakfast and bought me a gift which was not exactly what I was expecting but still sweet.
We even made it to church today, which has been unusual for as of late. We're heading to see my parents when C wakes up from his nap so I'm just hanging out now and relaxing while DH does some yard work. -

@Silva: It hasn't, really. But now it's to the point that it's bad enough I can laugh about it, which I guess IS an improvement! I am slightly sick (just enough to be uncomfortable, which, when coupled with my wrecked back is... unpleasant), Lorelei is just sick enough to be grumpy, Mr. T had to go to the field after two whole hours at home (he was sweet while he was here, until he got grumpy that I wasn't very cheerful), and then when we tried to go play outside at the playground to cheer us all up, it started to pour rain on us. But, of course, not enough rain to bring Mr. T home. So I get to do solo bedtimes, etc. tonight. I'll do some yoga later, and maybe do some writing or something. It's okay. Just not my dream day at all.I am loving reading about all the sweet, thoughtful, and fun things everyone else has going on-- so keep it coming!

@Mrs. Pen: I am actually down, if you are. I miss that whole area, even though I hated growing up there. Lorelei has actually been making me read her, "Goodnight Tennessee" book over and over. I want some short mountains and forests and goofy tourist stuff.

@Mrs. Twine: It would be awhile from now if it happens - but the majority of my family is planning to move to TN. My SIL and brother have been saving $$ for a house downpayment and he plans to start looking for jobs down there in about a year. So they've been wanting to enlist the rest of us to move down there with them - and we're considering it for the future. I would definitely like to visit and experience TN before I commit to it though! I've never been to that area.

Today was going to be the day I told my mom and MIL that we are expecting...had a whole thing planned to surprise them. Unfortunately, that won't be happening. I am trying to focus on the fact that this is about my mother and the wonderful woman she is. Today is just hard, I hope and pray that this time next year I will have a little one.

We had a good day! Did dinner last night with my whole extended family, which was fun since we only get together a few times a year. And this morning the kiddo slept til 7:30 and DH picked us up Bob Evans breakfast because he doesn't cook. Then we took a boat ride up the river and had BBQ for lunch. Just relaxed for the rest of the day. And I got a rotisserie, which I've been wanting for a while.

country music concerts!We had a low key day, just hanging out, which was perfect. R slept 14 hours straight last night which was the best gift ever This was my gift from R. Those of you that listen to country music will get the references
