I feel like when I get sick, the whole ship sinks, so to speak! DH can't/doesn't want to pick up the slack and it's a snowball effect from there because inevitably, he gets sick shortly thereafter!
How is your SO when you're sick?

He's amazing! I'm going into my 7th week and the nausea / all day morning sickness means I'm useless and just lying bed all day trying not to throw up. He's been amazing - taking care of our 3.5 year old and 2 dogs, getting me crackers/water constantly, listening to me bitch and moan all day and night. Love the guy.

He's good at leaving me alone and making sure I have everything I need next to me in bed. He needs work on taking over food duty.

He's so great! I have been extremely sick the last several months, and he has been AMAZING. He has done all the housework and grocery shopping AND taking care of LO at night when I'm sick in bed.

Pretty amazing. The kids may not eat mama-approved foods, but he totally takes over when I'm sick.

He's GREAT with our daughter, caring for me, and making sure we all eat. He's not as good at doing household stuff (dishes, picking up toys).

He's really awesome at taking care of me and handling LO solo when I'm sick. And he's had to do a lot of that while I've been pregnant. Especially now that I'm on bed rest. The house work suffers and he doesn't do things exactly the way I would, but I need to learn to let that stuff slide, because it's a lot of work to run the ship solo, and he does it without a single complaint. And even yells at me to go rest if I try to help too much.

He will inevitably get much sicker within hours! If my illness is minor - a cough, cold- he will just completely overlook the fact I'm sick and life will carry on as normal. Pregnancy gets me zero special treatment!
He's generally great around the house. We so 50/50, really.... but that balance isn't going to tip in my favour for anything! Its not that he doesn't pull his weight, its just he fully expects me to too.
I'm off sick from work at the moment (pregnancy anaemia + exhaustion) and there is a list of jobs he would like me to do while I'm off (stripping wallpaper etc).

He's okay. Depends on how sick I am. Even so I'd say it's mediocre help at best. But whatever. I don't get sick often

He's great! He is caring and attentive. He fusses if I try to do too much too soon.

He is so kind. He makes me all my meals, brings the guest bed out into the living room floor for snuggles and TV, tucks me into bed, sets up tissues humidifier and water, reminds me to take pills and vitamins..... I am a lucky girl!! Then again, I am rarely sick.
He gets sick every 4-7 weeks, and I try to be as nurturing as him, but sometimes in my head I'm like.... again?!?! Back when we were TTC, it also always seemed to be when I was ovulating

Totally awesome. I was so sick 2 weeks ago with an upper respiratory cold and he let me sleep, took care of DS and did all cooking so I could rest and recover.
