I'm so excited! The hubs is starting to sand the floors in the nursery tomorrow so that I can start painting them on Sunday.
My father in law even offered to help him (which is somewhat surprising, but I'm super happy about it... let's just hope he will show up)
I can't wait to start... it's been way too long and I feel we are so behind. Did you start/complete the nursery pretty late in your pregnancy? (I'm almost 34 weeks. yikes!)

Yay! Can't wait for it to be done because I want to see pictures! We moved when I was 8 months pregnant so we also got a late start. I was very surprised that it was finished in time.

That's so exciting! We just started working on our this week (21.5weeks). DH's uncle is a painter so he's there now painting the walls and trim. I can't wait to see how it turns out tonight!

For Mavrick we finished it when I was in the second trimester. But because we had so many renos to do in the house everything was part of a domino effect.

I am super excited because it's looking better than I thought but the best part is that the hub LOVES it and wants to paint more floors. Hah. Men!

You're not alone. I'm only going on 16w now but we are going to probably move the month before my due date! However we are renters for now, so I don't think it will be that big of a project! I can't wait to see it all done!

That's awesome, we have cleared out the future nursery, and I am going to prep it for paint, and maybe paint this weekend, and I am 35 weeks today! We are hoping to finish it next weekend or shortly thereafter (we want the paint to cure for at least a week before we apply the decal).

we got lots of painting done this weekend. We need to finish the floors so by next weekend we can varnish them.

@blushink: It's the simple things that make us happy. I remember when planning my wedding, my napkins were my favorite things. I'd go sneak in the box to look at them and get chills, I loved them so much!

@pastemoo: My father in law and husband sanded, primed and painted the floors. My husband painted the walls and ceilings and I painted the wainscoting. It's waterbase paint so not very damaging and I opened the window while painting (seated down)
