Did you get into the Hunger Games frenzy? Hubs wanted to see the movie so we went at Easter, and it was really good! It was good enough that I bought the book and read it in less than 2 days. Plus I loaded both sequels onto our Kobo and read each of them in less than 2 days.
Any other fans? What was your favorite part?

Read all the books! Really want to see the movie but I've been having really bad back pain with my pregnancy and the thought of hours in a movie theater seat is too much for me.

Well I think it's like a kindle...it's an e-reader.

@mrbee: The same way that Barnes and Noble has the Nook, Borders had the Kobo. It's cheaper than a Nook or Kindle, but has fewer features.

@mrbee: We didn't know until we started looking for an inexpensive ereader for an international trip that I ended up not going on. The ebooks of Catching Fire and Mockingjay were less than 1/2 the cost of the hardback books, so it made sense for us to load them on that.

I listened to all three on a road trip using Audible, I really enjoyed them but the first was the best in my opinion. We just saw the movie this weekend and it was pretty good, as long as I thought of it as a supplement to the book instead of as a replacement it was great!

I saw the movie first and thought it was decently good. Now i'm finishing the last of the trilogy on my kindle. I have to say, I really enjoyed it.

I read the books before they announced the movie. I really love the books and I thought the movie was pretty great.

I read all the books and was able to get my husband interested so he read them all too. We are going to watch the movie next week - my brother is coming to stay with LO after we put her down for the night.

I read them out of curiosity when the YA community was buzzing about them. I enjoyed the first book, the second was OK, and the third was a craptastic train wreck.
I thought they did a good job with the movie!

I finished the book literally 2 hours before we went to see the movie. Haha. The book was better. I thought the movie was slow but they did a good job. I just finished book 2 today. I loved it! My sister is bringing me the third this weekend. Until ylthen that cliffy is killing me!

LOVED them!!!!! The last was a little slow though... and really sad! The movie was good, but of course not as good as the book
And it seemed like a lot of really close up shots, almost hard to focus

I read the books a couple years ago. LOVED them. The movie was great seeing everything come alive, but I'm a firm believer that the movies are never as good as the books !:D

I read the whole series last christmas. I loved them. There are so many good parts, I don't think I can pick one favorite.

I agree with many of you, books are always better!
For some reason, one of my favorite scenes is when the group is in Tigres' basement apartment in the final book, no idea why. -
