So LO woke up with a bunch of tiny bites on her eyelid, and bigger more mosquito-ish bites on her forehead, nose, & ear. She already had some type of allergic skin reaction around her mouth that I was monitoring, but that combined with these bites made me bring her to the ped. The ped said it was hard to tell what the bites were from, either flea or bedbug or mosquito. I have inspected her mattress and cant find anything, but obviously I'm panicking.

Our things have been in the moving company's storage unit for 2 months and were delivered Friday morning. At first I thought it couldn't be bedbugs or she would have had bites before now, but then I read that it can take several days for bites to actually appear.

She sleeps in a long-sleeve onesie and a sleep sack, so maybe that is why they're only on her face? Or do bed bugs get in/around clothing? They seem pretty determined...

I called orkin and it's $100 for them to come and check for bedbugs. I hate the throw away $100 if it's not bedbugs, but I think I may just do it.

And the bite on her ear is bothering her so much she keeps messing with it and it made her earring bleed:;

The ped gave us oral and topical antibiotics...

What would you guys do?
