I've been TTC #1 after we lost our first angle at 5 weeks in october. I just started using opk test strips this cycle but I can't tell if they are working. I keep getting a line its just never quite as dark as the control line. The darkest one yet was this morning (CD20)I have a normal 28-30 day cycle and 3-5 day period. Did I miss it? might I already be pregnant? please help!!!

@Bsummer25: did you miscarry? If so, your cycle might be out of whack a little bit.

Yes My ob called it an chemical pregnancy (an very early miscarage) and that was in Oct.

OPK strips can't actually tell you if you've O'd. They only tell you that you body is gearing up for potential O (which may or may not actually happen).
That said, none of those really look like a definite positive OPK to me (although I've not used that brand before). To my understanding, the test line should be as dark or darker than the control line for a positive.

You might be close to O now are you temping and tracking CM? I'm using the Ovia app to track both and its amazing. I would BD.

Yes I understand that but i have been testing for 9 days now and can't get a for sure positive are you saying its possible that I didnt/won't ovulate?

@Bsummer25: Your cycles my still be wonky from the chemical pregnancy / miscarriage. So it's anyone's guess when you may or may not O. It might take a couple few months for your body to get back on the cycle you're used to.

@Bibliolove: yes I am using ovia also I'm not tracking temp but I am my cm and is basicly been the same "fertile" consistency the whole time I've been using the opk

@Bsummer25: are you using the OPK in the morning? Because you're supposed to use them mid to late afternoon. It doesn't look like any positive yet.
When I was pregnant I got a VERY positive OPK. So sorry to say but I doubt you're pregnant.

@Bsummer25: also there is a chance you just missed O. Especially if you're testing in the morning. Or it was a weak ovulation. Lots of reasons but this may just be a cycle you just have to wait and see.

None of those look positive to me yet, but the last one is really close. Is that from today? If so I'd test again and see if it's positive now.
Sorry about your chemical, is this your first cycle post m/c? It's not uncommon for your cycle to change slightly after a m/c, so it could be that you're ovukating late this cycle.
Also, opk's won't tell you if you have ovulated, just that your body is gearing up up to O. If you want to confirm o, you need to be temping as well

Sorry, it might be your cycle is still settling down (as others have said too). 
maybe take this month off, wait until you start your period, then treat that as CD 1. I recommend temping, I had a huge resistance to it but now I can see how useful it is with my current cycle. Eg,with temping you'd know if you already o'ed or not.

@Bsummer25: FYI my cycle after my first early loss went to like 60 days on cycle three post loss. After that it went back to normal eventually but you certainly can have some variation for a while after a loss

@T.H.O.U.: thank you I had no idea it would still be messing with me. I'm hoping for the best tho i wanted to be able to anounce pregnancy on Christmas. Maybe I'll get lucky
