@matador84: Oh my goodness, congrats!! What an awesome story! My mother almost had a very similar birth with my older sister, but just made it into the hospital doors in time to push, thank goodness. The car must have been so scary! Just so you know for the future, her second delivery (me) was just as quick! Hope you write a guest post about it!

Did your friend get to sign the birth certificate as attending physician? My husband had to deliver a baby on a call once and got to do that... I always thought it was so cool!
