cleaning up my LO's toys and cleaning up after their meals. I feel like this is constantly happening, maybe just because these are my least favorite parenting tasks. There's just something about cleaning up messy kids and floors! I don't even mind diapers as much!
What parenting task do you feel like you are always doing?

I feel like I'm always running around after DD, seeing to her wants. Honestly, she issues her demands like a machine gun:
- Hat milk?
- Hat Bubble Guppies on?
- Hat medicine?
- Hat Peppa on?
- Hat more milk?
- Where's my Dum Dum?
- I've lost Bun Bun?
- Hat slippers on?
- Hat banana?
- Hat Bubble Guppies back on?
This is all in the space of about a minute. No sooner than I've met her demand, she's issuing the next.

Repeating myself. Like, come over here so I can change your diaper. C, come in here, mommy needs to change your diaper. C, can you hear me? Time to change your diaper. I'm tired of repeating myself, please come in here. C! GET IN HERE SO I CAN CHANGE YOUR DIAPER OR WE'RE NIT GOING TO THE PARK!!!
Change "change your diaper" to pretty much whatever else I need to do and that's my day.

Cleaning up one mess after another after another......after another. And repeating myself over and over and over.... And then yelling because I'm getting so damn frustrated.

Trying to convince him to do things: change his diaper, get dressed in the morning, put shoes on, get in the car, etc. Everything is "no" at first. I'm tired of feeling like I either have to negotiate or force him to do things.

For me it's wiping DS's runny nose. All day long I chase him with Kleenex, boogie wipes, etc. He sees them coming and runs.

Also picking up toys. And about our house in general (a problem my husband is the main perpetrator of:) cleaning off the damn kitchen island counter. I feel like I clear it 10x a day, and he'll come in from work and dump a pile of mail, random stuff he found in the car, his wallet, gloves, keys, work ID, etc, a travel coffee mug. Basically anything and everything. And then gets mad if I move it or put it away because then he "can't find anything". auuughhhhhh

@Cherrybee: me too. And I've been making her say please because I don't appreciate having order barked at me but it doesn't make me any happier about it/less busy.
For DD2 I feel like she naps alot. She takes about 3 a day but I feel like I'm constantly putting her down

These days I am obsessed with cleaning the floors b/c she is everywhere so every night I'm steam mopping away!

Cleaning the dining room floor. Or just walking through the crumbs 
(We now have two kids feeding themselves, but not with the greatest of skill.)
Washing/drying/putting away diapers. (Two in diapers and we recently decided we needed to wash everyday because they take so long to air-dry in the winter.)

Wrangling DS (8.5mos) for diaper changes. He flips every single time and just wants to crawl up the chair, changing table, or wherever we are changing him. It's exhausting. Babies have superhuman strength, for real.

I definitely dislike cleaning up after meals. WHY does he stick his hands INTO the apple sauce and then rub it all over the table? ugh.
So, cleaning up after meals and picking up toys. Although, I always ask him to pick up toys with me, so that one isn't too bad. Daycare must sing a clean up song because every time we clean up he sings "everybody clean up! everybody clean up!". I use it now to try and encourage him to help and I think it works!

Counting down til nap time, feeding time, etc. I've gotten good at remembering what time he woke up and when he last had a bottle.
I'm also always doing dishes

Ugh I have so little patience these days and he has so little respect (I mean he's three so yeah.)

@.twist.: Ahh, C does this too but with yoghurt! Yoghurt everywhere - in her hair, on the tray, on her clothes, all up her arms.....everywhere. She's almost two, I thought she'd be beyond this now!

@Ree723: Seriously! L is 2.5! Why is he still doing this? And he thinks it's hilarious if I tell him that "we don't make messes with our food, ok?" LOLMOM.
