@mrbee: I hope you don't get sick - I take Zicam as soon as I feel like I'm getting sick - works wonders!

I agree with Zicam. Also lots of fluids and lots of rest! Warm soup and hot tea always helps me feel better too.

@mrbee: ginger tea (the extremely spicey asian kind), an extra vitamin, and spinach salad as a side for every meal. Really, that spinach salad does wonders. My first 3 years teaching I got sick constantly from all the kids and then I started doing the vitamins + spinach salad and I didn't get a cold or flu the entire year.

@mrbee: Oh no! I take Airborne, drink lots of orange/grapefruit juice and try to get a little extra rest if possible. Though it looks like I should try Zicam.

Might sound a little hokey, but I do this for everyone in our family when they are/getting sick. Warming socks are an awesome overnight help.

We don't use wool overtop, just wet socks with dry socks on top (or a footed sleeper for DD). We're always toasty warm in the morning and feeling better.
