My heart breaks every morning I have to leave my son. Especially on mornings like today when he woke up before I left and was crying for me and cried even harder when I left the room. 
*sniff sniff* Some days are harder than others.
What about you? Do you find it hard to leave every morning? Does your LO cry when you leave?

I do drop off and pick up, but some days I stand around and talk to her teacher for like 10 mins because I don't want to leave. She is only 4.5 months so she doesn't cry yet when I leave. I am SO not looking forward to that.

Yes...especially when I drop him off at my friend's house. He will scream before I even get him out of his carseat b/c he knows where we are and that I'm going to leave him shortly. Seriously breaks my heart.

I do drop off and pick up, as well. I am sad every morning when I leave her, especially if she sees me leaving the room and gives me her little look. I try to kiss her on the head and skeedaddle so she doesn't see me (or I don't see her) as I leave. It kills right now because she is just so much fun!! Sigh.
For two weeks, she cried when I left. Not just cried but screamed and pushed off on the teacher and didn't want anything to do with anyone. She has gotten over that, thankfully.
Being a working mom stinks. But, picking her up in the afternoon always makes my day.

@mediagirl: DH is on summer break so he's home with our son. But I agree, coming home is my favorite time of day. I play a little game with him when I get home. I will stand out of his sight and call his name. He gets so excited and comes looking for me with the biggest smile on his face. Melts my heart everyday.

Aww... I know - its so hard DH does drop off now and said LO cried for him this morning and it broke his heart.
Usually J wakes up early enough that I get 45 minutes to hang with him while I'm getting ready but when he sleeps in i am so sad to miss him!! Also, if DH is home with him I def get jealous!

it's not hard every day. but there are def days that are still harder than even the first day. NEVER gets easier all the time.
i've been working from home a lot more because of it!

@hellobeeboston: A doesn't usually wake before I leave, but I do enjoy those mornings that he does wake up early and I get to spend more time with him.

@mrskc: I do something similar with DS! I will yell into the house and I hear him squeal and start crawling through the kitchen to get to me. LOVE coming home!!

@mrskc: today was really hard for me too. noelle is sick again (lately she's been catching colds at least once a month!), it's just a cough and some sniffles so we still sent her to school since i can't keep taking so much time off. it's hard to leave her when i know she's feeling under the weather and all she wants is snuggles from mama. going to pick her up early today though.

@mrskc: Every day is hard. I always tell myself that leaving BabyGloss is the hardest thing I will have to do all day, and that if I can get through that, it's all downhill from there. ((hugs)) Mama . . . I never knew my heart had so much surface area!
@littlek: BabyGloss may be starting daycare around 15-16months . . . I am beyond terrified(!), but also almost look forward to her toddling off to play with her friends. Parenting can be so bittersweet!

DS is still a newborn, but I'm already dreading the day I have to go back to work. I'm hoping to be able to work from home a couple days a week upon return, but we'll see.
