That's the worst! It just makes you imagine all sorts of things. Also, I like being prepared and this would drive me batty.

Yeah I would respond and say "I would like to be prepared for our meeting. If you could please advise on the topics to be discussed I would greatly appreciate it."

That's the worst! I would spend so much time between now and then trying to figure out what it was...
I was a teacher before LO and just like the kids, got nervous whenever I got an email or classroom buzz that said "see me immediately at day end"...never was it a big deal, mostly just signatures on time sensitive items. I always joked with her that she should clarify I'm not getting fired!!!
