He had been rolling for a few weeks but now it's waking him up and I'm now freaking because he is rolling over and sleeping on his stomach. I hate that he is sleeping on his stomach(I'm crazy paranoid)
When your lo started rolling over did you do something to make them stop while they are sleeping? He wakes himself up way too much during the night. This stomach thing just started last night.

Have you tried putting rolled up swaddle blankets under the crib sheet (on either side) to help keep him in place?

Once DS start rolling I had to let it go
There were a few naps I woke him up early from because he hadn't moved in a long time and I was scared...thankfully he was always fine.

@BabyMats: My LO started rolling a month ago front to back and then 3 weeks ago back to front. But since she sleeps in the Merlin sleepsuit, she can't turn in her sleep (although sometimes she tries).

R just started rolling over on her tummy every time we put her down. So we just went with it. The pedi said that it is totally fine if she is putting herself in that position.

We just went with it. I was comfortable knowing she could get herself into and out of that position. She's exclusively a tummy sleeper now.

DS can't roll yet, but at his 4 month pedi appt, the dr said this would happen (eventually) and that it's totally fine if they do since they can roll and get themselves "unrolled". He also said some babies sleep better on their bellies.

Once Xander could roll to his stomach, he already could roll back to his back, so if he decided to sleep on his stomach, we let him.
But don't listen to me! I like Xander sleep with an A&A blanket wrapped around his head!

I never did anything when he started to roll on his stomach, but it did make me a nervous wreck for a while. I definitely checked on him a lot more!

I turn his head to the side and yes he doesn't move as much if at all so I have to go in and check him a lot! His nose has a space face down but still.
@Anagram: the merlin sleep suit is too hot for him to wear over here.

When my first on started rolling, it freaked me and DH out too. We used a crib wedge to prevent his rolling during the early days...then when we felt comfortable enough that he could roll in both directions if he wanted, we removed the wedge and let him have at it. It only was around a week or two that we used the wedge.
There were a few naps I woke him up early from because he hadn't moved in a long time and I was scared...thankfully he was always fine.
