Yikes!! Hopefully his hair grows back fast!

Luckily for me whenever I cut DH's hair, he always uses the shorts setting on the clippers, so there's nothing I can really mess up

I don't cut my husbands hair because he'd probably never talk to me again afterwards! LOL. That's about my level of skill with scissors or clippers

I only do the girls' hair.

Oh no, LOL! At least it's hair. It will grow back really quickly and won't be obvious in a month!

Aw, well it'll grow back! I cut both dh and ds's hair with clippers every time. I'm no hairdresser, so they get shaved every time. Ds's is slightly longer than dh's.

I agree with @bao: Why did he take the guard off?

I've cut his hair since college... Now it's one length all over short but back then it was longer on top. First time I tried it that way we'd been in a huge fight... I accidentally gAbe him a flat top! I swear it wasn't on purpose... He wore a hat till it grew out. Hope your DH forgives fast that stinks!

DH let me cut his hair once....need I say more:)

I've cut my husbands hair ONCE and that was enough for him to never let me get near him with clippers again. Hey...we try,right

I cut DH's hair and once I cut his sideburns off. They were way too short. This was right before our engagement photos. Oops. Several haircuts later I've gotten a lot better.

I've done the exact same thing to my DH. And to make it worse, he had a job interview two days later! Needless to say, he was not happy with me...

I cut my husband's hair for the first time a few weeks ago and did the same thing. I was able to save it by just shaving the back a little shorter than usual but I felt so bad. I was crying but that's probably due to the pregnancy hormones. He was shocked but let it go. Now I have to cut his hair again tomorrow and I'm nervous!

I used to cut the hubby's hair, and on the first attempt, I gave him a nice racing stripe on the side of his head because I missed the comb and cut directly on his head (similar to your situation). Thankfully, hubby wears a hat daily so he could cover it up until hair grew back in.

Omg! My DH would be pissed. I don't like doing anything with his hair. I'm so afraid I'll do something wrong. I do warn him that I have no idea what I'm doing and that I'm apologize in advance if I mess up.
