I just gave my notice that I will be leaving my job! It's the only job I've had since graduating from college 9 years ago.... I'm so nervous and relieved at the same time. I will be a SAHM starting next month!!!

@Rubies: It was incredibly tough! I love my career along with the money that it brings in so it was a very difficult decision to give that up.
For our family, we decided that I would quit now and plan to stay home with our LO for ~1 year. That would give us more time to adjust to parenting and it would allow DH to be able to be a bit more focused on his career. I plan to re-enter the workforce in 2014 and since my industry is doing pretty well, I don't think it will be problematic. Realizing that quitting now didn't mean quitting forever made it a lot easier for me.
