We are going to start TTC #4 (!!!) in the next month or so...
...which means I currently have $84.21 worth of OPKs and pregnancy tests (4 different brands. Obviously.) in my Amazon cart.
Someone tell me I'm not alone in my crazy here

Ummm... I have no less than 4 brands of pregnancy tests in my house at the moment. I just received 100 LH + 20 HCG tests this morning... And I may or may not soon be wearing 2 fertility trackers at night. 🤷‍♀️

Sidenote: what LH strips are you using? I used Wondfos for my other 3 and they always worked great, although I know that's not the case for everyone!

@bees_knees: I've used wondfos, and generally don't have a problem... But the last 3-4 months I've used Pregmate. I like them because they're wider, so easier to compare darkness with a bit more real estate.

@DesertDreams88: I am equal parts excited and terrified and sad. This will be our last baby (even though I want 10000s of babies!! haha) so bittersweet. And also, I'd prefer to wait a few more months (DS3 just turned 1!) buuuut we'd also like to only have one health insurance deductible to meet for this pregnancy and writing off another baby on 2019 taxees wouldn't hurt either So here we go!!

@bhbee: Um yeah. I tried using some this week...until I realized they expired literally 2 years ago. *facepalm*
I"m scared I will never feel done! I'm just going to keep going until I can land a reality show or something 
Now I just have to talk DH into it...

hah, not crazy, it's impressive!
I just have one, would like another, but the thought of TTC makes me nauseous. I would like to just NTNP until it happens, but at some point I'm going to probably have to up our game...

@bees_knees: girl, welcome to crazy town. TTC was one if the absolute worst mindfucks of my life. I'm going to throw out an unpopular opinion. OPKs, charting and all the hyper scrutiny as to timing and CM and temping and intercourse can be really damaging to the conception process. It made me (already very Type A) completely consumed by what (I thought) was happening. Looking back, I wish I had never started analyzing everything so. Trying to control a situation so frustratingly out of your control is a slippery slope. Just my opinion!

@pachamama: Girl, I TRIED that! It ends up in my overnighting pee sticks *facepalm*. Turns out I'm even more crazy when I *don't* have the information at my fingertips. The OPKs I have right now are 2 years expired and obviously not working, and it is driving. me. CRAZY not knowing for sure what my body is up to!

@agold: I have always wanted 4! I'd actually do 5/6 if DH was on board...but he wanted 2/3 so I guess 4 is our compromise! Three has definitely been a lot...but we also had them pretty close together (we had a 3 year old and a 19 month old when DS3 arrived!) I know it will be easier someday...but for now I had to learn where to prioritize (I'm lookin at you, laundry basket that has sat full of clean, unfolded clothing) FWIW, I am a SAHM so childcare expenses aren't a factor. If we had daycare expenses, I am 100 sure we would rethink 4 kids!
Sorry, that probably wasn't much help. I think part of me is addicted to the excitement of a new baby, which is why I am so ready to add another! Are there specific reasons you are scared to try for #3?

@bees_knees: Thanks! I love your response! I am going to follow your other thread, too! I'm scared about #3 for all the reasons you listed. 
Unfolded laundry (i.e., clutter and mess in general that I don't have time to address), child care expenses (nanny; im considering private school, etc); and just a general wanting to get past the baby stage (but this is crazy, because I love love love these babies and the baby stage!). So its so hard to tell if the current "burdens" are enough to keep me from having a #3! I have two girls and really wouldn't mind a third girl (I already have her name picked out and feel so bad about not trying to bring her into the world; DH would love a boy!)

@agold: I have an entire list of girl names...that I have been racking up since 2013 when I was pregnant with DS1. We only had 2 names on our list for DS2 and didn't agree on a name for DS3 until we got to the hospital. Boy names are hard!
I vote you go for it! But maybe that's just because I want everyone to be just as crazy as me *cue evil laugh*
