Our sitter mentioned that DS takes the best naps for her when she puts him down on his side. She said he flips to his belly and he's out. He takes better naps for her than anyone else!
I figured he can roll both ways pretty easily now, so I did it. I put him down in his crib drowsy and fussy on his tummy, patted his butt, and walked out. I came back in at 5 minutes for a few more butt pats, and left again. At 7 minutes he was asleep! I know if they flip to their belly its fine, but putting them down on their belly isn't really recommended.
Is this ok? I feel awful... He's even in his little 'Back is Best' Halo sleep sack. Irony. But the kid is a tummy sleeper and I've apparently been cramping his style. Someone absolve me of my guilt and tell me you did it too
