My baby just turned 12 weeks old and I went back to work recently. He has been typically sleeping about 8 to 9 hours straight per night for his longest stretch. He usually wakes up very hungry anywhere from 3 AM to 5 AM and eats 6 oz.. Right now he's going to bed between 7:30 PM and 8 PM. He's so fussy and tired by that point that he goes down very easily so I think he's ready.

In the books I've read it says That putting the baby to bed earlier can help him sleep longer and wake up later. Maybe he's just not ready to go longer than eight or nine hours without eating?

I am really struggling with the lack of sleep and work because he wakes up and its getting harder to keep him down the rest of the night till 6/7 am. Should I keep his bedtime at 7:30/8 and try to wake him up to feed him before I go to sleep? Try to keep him up later and let him take a nap at 7:30/8?

Not sure if this information is helpful but his naps haven't really hit a schedule yet but he goes to sleep within two hours of being awake and sleeps typically anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours per nap on a good day. He is formula fed.

Sorry if this is a rambling post. I'm sleep deprived would appreciate any advice! Thanks!
