@skibobrown: We are so STEM oriented in our house, just by virtue of our jobs... Our harder job is to make sure she gets exposure to arts.
@daniellemybelle: we don't know doc mcstuffins, I'll have to check it out.

@Mrs. Jacks: The main character's mom is a pediatrician, and so the little girl "doctors" her stuffed animals who get into various situations. They are also an African-American family. We already love Doc McStuffins and our kid isn't born yet

@Honeybee: I was grinning last night. It's just so fun to see them grow and develop into these unique creative beings that have nothing to do with our agenda for them.

@chopsuey: She has an unfair advantage on you because every time she has an earache, mama pulls out an otoscope. You might say she's cheating

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: alright! Great suggestion. I'll try to work on something. For us it really is integrated into every thing we do from pouring water to opening the fridge or getting on an airplane. I feel like everyday living gives lots o opportunities for understanding science.

I'm an engineer that went to school with 90% guys and currently, all my coworkers are men. I LOVE hearing about parents of daughters fostering interest in STEM areas!
