With Mother's Day coming up I thought I'd be nice to get in the "I love you Mom" mode with a little reflection. What is something that you love about your mom or that you love you mom does?
I'll go first! I love that my mom....
Apologizes quickly! She is amazing at this and I've always felt like our relationship matters so much to her because of it. She would much rather eat crow than us have something between us.

is the most amazing grandmother ever. The grandkids ALWAYS comes first. She quit her job to watch my brotherS kids. She does all the night wakings for my nephew currently and watches him during the day. She would watch M too if we lived close by.

...never passes judgment! My mom has an amazing way of offering advice without passing judgment. She has always let her children make their own mistakes and then helps us pick up the pieces without making us feel bad about ourselves. She knows when we want her to help us and when she needs to stand back (even though it kills her)!

I love that my mom still wants to take care of my, even at 28! She came over yesterday while we were at work to tidy my house and do my laundry because she knows we've been crazy busy lately and are going out of town this weekend. Seriously. Bets.Mom.Ever!!

Always is there with an ear to listen. She always makes time for me no matter what. And she offers to babysit!!

sticks up for me. This isn't the case if my little brother is on the other side, but if I tell her about a problem I'm having at work, with friends, with my husband, etc, she always has my back.

She let's me do my own thing even if she doesn't necessarily agree. She is always there to listen and she always tries to make everything fair between my brother and I.

I love that my mom makes every holiday special. She goes all out for Halloween, Christmas, Valentjnes Day, Easter, etc. I have the best memories!
I also love how she is ALWAYS there for me and knows just what to do. Just this morning I called her in pregnancy hormone induced tears about how my ultrasound was cancelled that i was so looking forward to. She told me to wait it out and it all worked out in the end - they rebooked me for later in the day. Love my mom!!

... is always there in for family and friends in times of need. It's really sweet. I think she'd be a great social worker or hospice care giver but then she wouldn't always be able to come running when I need her.

...always has navel oranges at her house just for me and we drink tea together on her back patio.
She always says she loves me and is proud of me. I know its true and she really does cherrish the daughter she raised. She is still herself- funny and smart and has common sense for days.
