You should do what comes naturally!

Personally, my idea of a perfect birthday is just a cake and a fun family event.

We just had a small get together with family and friends and it was lovely. I did make her cake myself and I was super impressed, but other than that I just ordered stuff off Amazon the week before, went to a party store, and then cooked a bunch the day before and it was a great day.

We had a little baby pool for her since it was hot and she played in that a bunch, she started up a dance party when we had music on and other than that she just ran around the backyard while some people played with her some people just ate and hung out and some people played outside games.

Girl, I am sooo with you. We will probably have a little get together with my parents and any other family that may want to come to town (no one lives near us). I doubt we would invite that many friends, maybe a few close ones? I figure we'll have cake, a cake for her (I'll make both), some sandwiches or burgers and dogs and chips? I dunno. That's how we party.
