I know there are a lot of stylish Bee's out there so I am hoping someone can send me in the right direction! I need a new handbag before baby comes. I am currently using one that weighs about a million pounds and is so cavernous objects can hide for years without being found. Ideally I am looking for something that is ultra light and has pockets for organization. I need to be able to carry it on my shoulder and in an ideal world it would have the ability to be worn crossbody as well. I am hoping for a neutral color that will go with anything too because I hate switching handbags. Any suggestions?

Okay, it's not a handbag, but I get TONS of compliments on my timi and leslie diaper bag in hannah as a cute purse! when i tell people it's a diaper bag, they are shocked!

while on maternity leave, i used a vera bradley wristlet - light and could easily be thrown in the diaper bag.

it doesnt replace a diaper bag, but it allows me to have a professional looking handbag for work and keeps my hands free for DS

You know, you could look at a liner/organiser instead of limiting yourself to a bagwith lots of pockets inside. And you can change it whenever you want, just lift it out and go!

@SAHM0811: i typically only put a wallet (the long kind), lip gloss, hand sanitizer, cell phone, and keys in mine. i like that the front pocket gives easy access to my phone and keys. now that i've moved to a smaller purse, i find that i don't need as much as i used to jam into my big pre-baby one!
I could fit a diaper and soft pack of wipes in too, but i have a SKip Hop Pronto changing station that I usually throw in the car instead of a diaper bag.

Do you have a price point? I love the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac clutches! They can be worn on the shoulder and crossbody (the strap can be adjusted) and are high quality bags! You can find a good deal on the discountiued colors as well. Good luck shopping
