I just started Jane the Virgin (Netflix) and I really like it so far!

Of you have Netflix, the Aziz Ansari original series Master of None. At first I wasn't sure, but by episode 2, I was hooked.
I also love "Married" on FX, and "Welcome to Sweden".

Drama: Homeland, The Affair (only in the second season now though so not a ton to binge), Good Wife
Crime drama: The Killing (amazing!)
Comedy: New Girl, Happy Endings (though it was cancelled so ends abruptly after a few seasons)

I decided on Broadchurch because @Golden reminded me of how much I loved The Fall and it's supposed to be similar! Thanks for the recommendations everyone, I'm adding these to my list!

Second Master of None on Netflix. If you have Amazon Prime, I enjoyed Transparent, Catastrophe, Red Oaks, and Hand of God.

Broadchurch - the BBC one, not the American remake - is fantastic! I think you'll like it if you liked The Fall!
I'd also recommend The Killing, Wolf Hall, Masters of Sex, American Horror Story (second season is great once you get past the first few episodes). And for funny, Arrested Development never gets old.

I second Black Mirror! Other good British shows IMO are Happy Valley, Sherlocke, The Missing, Fresh Meat and The Misfits.
Community is a great giggle; wasn't sure at first, but after the first season it kept getting better and better. Also love The Mindy Project.

Finished Broadchurch Season 1 and loved it! And Season 2 just showed up on Netflix this week.
I also am now watching Jane the Virgin after all of your recommendations and LOVE it! I never would have picked it otherwise because I thought the preview looked weird, but it is so good!
