T fights naps all the way to the very end. I used to chalk it up to being overtired but I know he's not (at the beginning at least). I start nap time well before he's overtired. Usually if it's been an hour since his last nap we are already trying to wind him down.

It doesn't work. We usually spend an hour rocking him to sleep, then trying to lay him down, he wakes back up 1 minute later, then repeat. I'm so frustrated. As soon as he realizes what we're trying to do when we rock him he throws a fit. Laying him down on his own to let him put himself to sleep is a joke. His sleep is horrible in general right now.

I need help. We just had to give up on a morning nap. He's only 4 months so I don't think he's ready for CIO.

ETA: we've tried starting a routine but it just doesn't happen. By the time we get to rocking he still throws a fit. Plus what worked today will not work tomorrow and vice versa.
