Yep, Lash Blast in the big orange tube is my go-to mascara.

What's the big plus about the Shu?

I live by Maybelline's Colossal mascara - I've tried a bunch of the ones! But, yes, CVS is awesome - you can try anything (makeup, nailpolish, you name it) and return it, used!, no questions asked. I tried a million lipsticks for my wedding that way

I tried lash blast and it worked great but I found out I was allergic to it. Womp Womp I love great lash

I love lash blast! Recently though I've really been into loreal telescopic and maybelline the rocket. Actually I pretty much swear by maybelline's mascaras; I've used megaplush, falsies, and falsies flared...all very good!

@PrincessBaby: yes! I've used lash blast since college! We used to (still do) call it the orange dildo bc the tube is so fat hahaha

This is how I feel about the Costco mascara. I too used to be a diorshow gal, until I tried the Kirkland signature! I love it.... $15 for two tubes!

@PrincessBaby: Yeah, it is really hard to get off. I really have to scrub at it with my wipes. It just made my lashes look so damn good that I put up with it. I have the original and the luxe version and a black/green glitter color, very pretty since I have hazel eyes.

That stuff in the purple tube sucked bad!!! I wear the pink maybelline and definitely curl.

I use sephoras eye makeup remover-soak a pad, hold for 20 sec, wipe clean!

I am intrigued by all this talk of the Shu curler. As someone who would also take their eyelash curler and mascara on a desert island, I might have to check it out!

My current favorite mascara is Studio FX by MAC. Love the thin wand! I couldn't handle the huge wand with the Lash Blast, because I could never get it close enough to my lids on the top side of my lashes without actually getting mascara on them. I use drug store brands for a lot of my makeup, but mascara is a non-negotiable. The Studio FX might drop a flake or two when I'm curling my lashes, but it really holds up throughout the day, and a tube easily lasts 3-4 months and never gets dried up or flaky over time. Or maybe I just run out of it before then!

@PrincessBaby: I actually really like the non-waterproof Maybelline Full n Soft. The original recommendation was from a WB blogger who is way into makeup. She raved about the waterproof version.

@PrincessBaby: ahh I agree about the loreal voluminous mascara! I've been using it since high school and recently I feel like it doesn't work as well!! When this tube is gone, I'm going to have to try the lashblast

I too am a freak about my lashes and mascara. Even if I do a "no makeup day" I use a bit of mascara. My obsession is that they have to look full, soft and real!
Obsessed with benefit bad gal lash! My favorite evah!
Also got a sample from sephora of ysl baby doll effet faux cils. It's a serious contender, but since I just got it I can't speak for the flaking!

This was the BEST drug store mascara EVER . . . and then it was discontinued. Bastards!!!!!!!!

@cheert16: It really is worth every penny . . . I tried 6 or so before I finally caved. It is the only one that gets almost every lash and doesn't pinch/pull out any lashes in the process!

I am a die hard tubular mascara fan. I always had issues with mascara smudging. Not anymore.

I really like the Trish McEvoy high volume but I have friends that swear by the L'Oreal - Double Extend Beauty Tubes.
