I am sooooo excited! My boss's boss was in last week and we were chatting about strollers. We ordered the Britax B-Agile because we liked it, but we also didn't want to spend $600+ on a stroller. We drooled over other strollers but went practical. We are not overly practical people in general (haha) but in this case we were very conservative and paid $185 for our stroller. And we love it! But when she offered us her Uppa Baby Vista, that her son used for maybe a year, I quickly said "sure!" I was a little unsure if it was an empty gesture or not, but sure enough she just came in with the stroller in tow, including the bassinet that was never even used by her son. OMG this stroller is the bomb! I am so grateful and cannot believe someone would just give away a $600 stroller. She also gave us a nice Pottery Bark Kids blanket and stuffed animal. Again, I am just so touched by all this.
Obviously a very nice thank you card is in order, but if this were you, would you give a gift certificate or some kind of item as a thank you for the stroller? Again, she's my boss's boss so I'm not sure what's appropriate. Your thoughts on this would be helpful.
