I'm 20 Wks pregnant with my first baby, due Aug 11th. I'm healthy, fit, no complications so far. I am a pastry chef and work in a kitchen on my feet 40 hrs/wk. I do have a lot of autonomy in my role and can certainly sit down for 5-10 mins at a time to take a break, but I cannot do my job sitting.
Having never been pregnant before, is it unrealistic to think I could work up until my due date? Id like to take the full 12 Wks off with baby, but looking for advice from other moms who worked on their feet while pregnant. I just asked another lady who works in our kitchen and she stopped working at 36 weeks. Thanks!
