What do you with them? I figure there has to be some kind of toys I can make. We get a new one every time we buy a new box of wipes. Before I gave them to day care.

@Smurfette: Wow! You must have a ton of boxes. We order ours from Amazon and they come with only the refills, no boxes.

They are great for toddlers to put things into! I cut up a recieving blanket into little squares and made lo a "wipes box" of his own. Hasnt been a hit so far, but maybe eventually?

@lawbee11: We buy boxes from Costco. Has like 1120 wipes in 4 big bags and then comes with the plastic container. I wish I kept them all, gave them all to her old day care! Since they used them for wipes.

They're really good for packing, if you're going somewhere and you need to keep smaller things contained and "safe" in your suitcase. I like to put liquid items in a bag inside the wipes box, so they don't get squished. It's also a good place to put flip flops, goggles, etc. Bonus is that you keep yourself a bit more organized at your destination too.
I keep a wipes box in the car, filled with first aid supplies.

I've seen people make sensory boxes with them. You can use craft poms and pipe cleaners or other random small objects for her to put in and pull out.

I put wipes and tissues and extra diapers in 1 and leave them in the car as emergency diaper kit situation.
I have another one that I put a ziplock baggie of legos and hotglued the lego square ontop to make it a portable lego container.
the other one is claimed by LO. she uses it as she wants as her own box. I find all kinds of crazy stuff in there.

These are all great ideas. Now I wished I didn't give them all to day care.

Man, I wish I had some of these! We use cloth wipes and the one time I bought a big box from Costco it was just the wimpy soft plastic bag instead of the hard case
L would LOVE it if she had one with fabric scraps that she could pull out (and then I would refill it for her).
I would love them to store craft supplies (stickers, small scraps of paper, etc)

not all wipes boxes are created equal though. I gave the flimsy one to LO!

We have the same problem! We buy the huggies box from Costco and it has a new container in each box. I put poker chips in one and he likes to dump them out and put them through the slot.
