Don't care as long as owner picks up #2. Dogs gotta do their thing!

@Leialou: Some people in our neighborhood who have corner lots and don't like people/dogs cutting across have erected fences (some are cute little white picket fences, others are atrocious concrete barriers).

I think the fact that the dog is off-leash and always peeing in the same spot is what would bug me. I have three dogs and they're always leashed whenever we go outside. I also do my best to not let them walk on our neighbors' lawns out of respect for my neighbors. They do pee on shrubs/grass at the edge of the lawn, but I do try to keep it as close to the edge as possible to be courteous. I love dogs, but I know not everyone does!

I thought female dogs could kill grass? Idk, something I was told. That said, we have leash laws in my area. So that alone is annoying.
When I walk my dog (and I'm NOT a dog person) I keep him on leash not because I think he'll misbehave, but because I don't know what other people don't want him loose around them. You never know who's afraid of dogs, who hates dogs, or who has their own dog around (whether on leash or in the yard) that is NOT kind to other dogs.

Nope, I wouldn't be mad. Dogs don't know what grass is okay to pee on and which isn't.

The off leash part would bother me more. Raccoons and squirrels and other critters pee freely in the yard so i don't see the harm in a dig doing the same. I'd be bothered if they weren't picking up #2

@MrsBrewer: I know that dogs are animals and grass is generally a place they pee, that's fine but the owner could have whistled or called him when he was going further and further into our yard to pee. You know? It was more of a problem with my neighbor than anything.
Maybe I'll feel differently when we have a dog again but in general, I try to be respectful of other people's property.

@HLK208: Truthfully, I have a 10 month old dog lab, and if he went on someone's grass to pee, he starts peeing soooo fast that there's no way (even with my dog on the leash) I would be able to stop him!

@HLK208: Yes it would bother me. Why should he let his dog off the leash to come on my property and then pee on my grass. His dog should pee on his grass

I'd be bothered by both the off-leash thing and the pee. Now that I have LO running around, I am totally intolerant of owners who let their dogs off leash to run around in public spaces, but large breeds bother me the most.

I would bring up the off leash but not the peeing. I mean, it's just a little pee... Say you are concerned, you have children, etc.
Is there a leash law in your area?

Yup it would bother me. Why can't the owner take him on a Keach in his own yard?!?! I think you have every right to be mad.
