@bhbee: i'm glad you have a date!
Whoo hoo. I like seeing things move along here. Hoping it results in good things for all.

@Shutterbug: YAY! That's exciting! Are you doing a fresh transfer, or only frozen?

@Happygal: Testing tomorrow. I'm at the point where I don't even like doing it anymore but have to because I've been on progesterone. So if its negative, I'll stop so AF can arrive in a couple days and not delay it.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@LindsayInNY: progesterone is the worst.......you don't get AF so your hopes go up...and I don't know about you but the symptoms are all alike with PG symptoms!!!!!!!
bananas / 9229 posts
@FaithFertility: I've had literally ZERO symptoms aside from the icky discharge. Absolutely nothing. But it's a complete mind F at the same time. I don't want to keep seeing negatives but I'm fearful of going off it and waiting for AF to arrive too.

@LindsayInNY: That's SO annoying. I just hate POAS. Hopefully you'll get good news though!

Our IUI went very well today, K's sample was good and the procedure was pretty painless. My official beta day is the 26th but I think I am going to test on the 24th. I didn't do a trigger and I am not on progesterone so.....ahhhhh!

I need to read everyone's stuff but here's my update real quick.
To answer your question @Mrs.Polish:, no. lol It's actually been kind of a mild winter here so far! With temps around 50 for many days! Rainy and gloomy today though.
So, I had my hysteroscopy last Wednesday. It was a "not bad" experience (wrote about it in detail on my blog if anyone really wants to know.) I have an appointment this Thursday for my follow-up (just talking I think.) He did call me the day after and said he found some polyps, which he removed. So I hope that will help things! I'm not sure if we'll be able to start trying again this cycle or not. CD 13 now...so I'm guessing O would be coming up pretty soon.
So behind in starting my day....!

@mrswin: I'm so glad it was smooth sailing!
@TheSwissWifeStyle: I'm happy to see an update from you, and that sounds like progress! I know last time you checked in, things were feeling pretty rough. How are your spirits these days?
@LindsayInNY: any updates?

@Happygal: better-ish for now! Just looking forward to see what my doctor has to say on Thursday. If he seems optimistic, that will def. help!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Happygal: Nothing. Last took progesterone Saturday night, BFN on Sunday. So now I'm just waiting for AF to arrive. I have a consult scheduled with my doctor for next month. DH had something come up at work so I just called to reschedule and ended up having it moved a week earlier. That freaks me out now!

@mrswin: yay for a good IUI and already in the TWW!
I always cave and test early. with trigger I can probably hold out until 12dpo, but no further. my RE doesn't schedule betas until 16dpo . . . I'm hoping if I ever get a BFP they will move it up! for a BFN that's fine as I'd rather get AF and not go in at all.

@Shutterbug: hope your retrieval this morning went well
@mrswin: glad to hear your IUI went smoothly, and hope your TWW goes by quickly
@TheSwissWifeStyle: I am hopeful that this is progress for you, and your doctor has positive news for you on Thursday.
@LindsayInNY: I'm sorry to hear your waiting on AF. I really hope your consult with your doctor brings you some answers, or at least a plan of action.
I'm on CD2 of my first IUI + injectables cycle, and have my baseline ultrasound appointment tomorrow morning. Hopefully if all looks good, I'll be starting femara tomorrow night, gonal-f Saturday and have a follow up ultrasound next Tuesday. I hardly slept at all the past two nights, with my mind spinning and feeling overwhelmed with what's to come this cycle. But for once I'm not depressed during AF, since at least I'm feeling hopeful that these interventions might give me a better chance this cycle.

@Sprite: I hope all goes smooth and well for you...I took Gonal F before.....very easy and my IUIs are painless and quick...even though I get all worried as if its going to hurt but ive had the procedure done 4 times now 2 b/b IUIs soooo I think I would be ok by now.....lol

@Sprite: yay, good luck!
@mrswin: I hope that it goes quickly and ends well!

@LindsayInNY: I'm so sorry. There's always an extra burst of hope before going to see the doctor.
@bhbee: is it safe to test at 12 dpo if you've triggered? My RE didn't give me a date.
@Sprite: That sounds like a good plan with lots going on! I'm glad you're feeling better this cycle.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@Happygal: I don't know that I'd call it totally safe, but it's less likely to be trigger. I tested it out last cycle and had a true bfn by 11dpo. But it varies by person and even specific cycle I'm sure. I think 14dpo is supposed to be safe? I'd read some places 10dpo but I was still getting shadows on that day.
I guess I think especially given a history of chemicals I will never believe it until I see a darkening line anyway ... So might as well start somewhere.

My iui is done! Counts were good for DH. It was way more painful this time, don't know if having a different np do it made a difference. I also secretly think I ovulated last night and so maybe my cervix was more closed by this morning. I know trigger is supposed to be exact timing but I thought I might have been starting to surge before I did it. Regardless timing should be ok since we also dtd after trigger.
They scheduled my beta for the 31st which seems crazy ... Hoping I will have a reason to call and beg to move it earlier! bring it on tww!
pomelo / 5000 posts
@bhbee: ouch--so sorry it hurt! But welcome to the TWW! How does your doctor try to time the IUI?
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@Happygal: they do trigger 36 hours before iui. I think they used to do back to back but decided it didn't improve odds so they only do one now.
I also think I am getting a stomach bug - hope it doesn't tank my chances!
pomelo / 5000 posts
@mrs bunchy: are you doing just clomid, or is it combined with IUI/trigger this time?
@bhbee: I really hope you're not getting a stomach bug! Are you feeling better today?
pomelo / 5000 posts
@Sprite: how was your ultrasound the other day?
@TheSwissWifeStyle: good luck with your appointment tomorrow! Let us know how it goes.
@mrs.polish: Are you guys considering doing medicated cycles in the future? I was just wondering if you had a timeline for adopting and/or TTC again.
@mrs bunchy: where are you in your cycle now? Did Clomid do the trick?
Any other updates? As for me, I'm just hanging tight in the lovely TWW. . .
nectarine / 2433 posts
@bhbee: I hope you aren't coming down with anything Crazy how late they schedule your beta for!
@Sprite: How was your baseline? Can you tell me why they are combining Femera and Gonal-F? We may move to injectables soon so I am interested in the protocols.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@Happygal: How is the TWW treating you? When is your beta? Are you going to test before?
