I saw my RE today to check on my cyst. It is small enough that we should be able to move forward soon with treatment. The only hold up now is AF. I was on BCP and haven't had my period yet after finishing the pill pack. RE said she thinks it will be here in the next few days. They drew blood and will be able to tell more from that. I am supposed to call Monday to check in and see where to go from there or let them know if AF arrives.

@raintreebee: I was on it for IVF, and the new RE told me to go back on it even though it's the very end of my cycle. He thinks I may only need the progesterone and possibly one dose of meds around O instead of IVF or IUI.
@kentuckygirl: Hope that darned AF gets here soon! Funny how sometimes you want it to show up and sometimes you really want it to stay away!

@spaniellove: I'm happy to read you had an informative although long appointment. Those are the best kinds of appointments. Happy too that you will get AF soon and start IVF in the summer after the other tries. Really hoping for a success and summer BFP for you!!

@sweetooth @suzimo: Thank you ladies. Although, I have a heavy heart this morning. I cheated a little and POAS yesterday and today to compare the lines myself instead of having to wait for this second beta. Yesterday morning the second line was faint but definitely there. This morning it is much fainter--barely visible. So I'm bracing myself for a negative result. Will update later this afternoon.

Had my 2nd beta yesterday. My number was 4531 which the dr said was good. On 4/17 I have an ultrasound which will tell more & be able to make sure things are progressing properly etc. DH & I are still cautiously optimistic since it's been such a long road to get here. Just hoping it continues.

today went in for another blood and ultrasound - and things seem to be looking good. googling the hell out of everything, though (of course!) - hoping everything still looks good in the bloodwork today
