In case anyone here didn't see yet... I'm PREGNANT!! Can't believe it! It really DOES happen. Don't give up even a shred of hope. Find a good RE and they will do what it takes to get a baby in there!!

@bhbee: I think I missed what's going on with you... Fill me in??

@CupQuakeWalk: The sperm is washed and allows for only the best of the best to get in there. That might be why they are recommending it.

@lazypanda: BFP! Approx due date, 1/15/15.. Can't believe it!!!

There is so much going on here! Congrats to the pregnant ladies: bhbee, catchafallingstar and Kelli-delux!
I feel like so many are also making such big progress to their goals: bluestriped bee, mrs. Bird, etc
I'm sending you all good "positive" vibes!

Oh, my favorite group. I fall behind so quickly!
@MrsMcD: you know you're welcome here! I like your positive attitude.
@lindsayinny: how are things going?
@bhbee: love that good report!

@Kelli_Deluxe: I'll watch for your good update tomorrow! How are you feeling?
@faithfertility: That is all.

@CatchAFallingStar: Congratulations!!! Do you mind telling me if you had an IUI or IVF? And when does sperm get washed? IUI or IVF or both? Thanks! I'm new to this!!!

@purplepumps: it sounds like you're ready to whip out the big guns again. I'm sorry you're feeling a bit worn out.
@mrstal: Do you have signs of endometriosis? What does your husband think you all should do? I think I would give at least 1 IUI a shot and see what happens.
pomelo / 5000 posts
@MrsMcD: sperm gets washed for IUI. You'll provide a sample, hang out for an hour while they prepare it, then be set for IUI time!
ETA: I don't know what happens for IVF.....

Oh my gosh! So much happening! Sorry I've been MIA ladies, I've been keeping up but life stuff just kept me busy from posting!
Congrats to KelliDeluxe BHBee and Catchafallingstar! So exciting, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!
I posted in the IUI thread, but our IUI was cancelled since I was ovulating on the side without a tube, but we still triggered and tdt, so now I am halfway through the TWW!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@EmilyE: You still have a chance even without the IUI. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
And there's an IUI thread! Oh my gosh... HelloBee keeps sucking me in more and more.

@lazypanda: cheers to a good update! Fingers crossed so hard for you, friend. Let me know if you're feeling list-making fatigue and we can take turns keeping up with it. I know it takes a lot of time.
@mrs. bird: I'm so glad you can go forth with surgery! You are not broken. You're uterus is just a little quirky. We have had a very generous family member help us out here and there with costs of everything b/c it's all out of pocket for us. I get it. He's so happy to help us try to grow our little family, but I wish we could swing paying for everything all ourselves.
pomelo / 5000 posts
@EmilyE: How are you doing in the TWW? I think 9 dpo is a tough point for me. So many symptoms could really just be PMS, it's too early to test, yet waiting 3 more days sounds sooooo far away!

@Mrs. Jacks: Thank you!
@Happygal: I'm feeling pretty good..... Feeling mostly positive! I've been exhausted but I'll happily take it! Thank you for asking! How are you feeling/biding your time?
@EmilyE: Thank you! Fx for you

@mrs. bird: That is a lot going on, but if you are happy with your choices that is all that matters :))) I pray your surgery goes perfectly!!!!!!!!!!

@doxielove: what does your husband say about things? Is he content just trying on your own for a little bit? I think I would move forward with testing.....treatments can wait until you're ready, but it's good to know what you're working with!

@PurplePumps: 35 day cycle is not bad, that is getting close to a great range!!! I know making all this decisions is hard, stay true to yourself and go with what works for you and your family ((hugs))

@Kelli_Deluxe: I'm ok! Saturday I spent most of the day by myself, and I let myself stew and worry about things totally out of my control. By the time my husband got home, I just had all this anxiety and unhappiness and had a hard time from spinning out. But I got over it and am now just hanging out. Thanks for asking!

@MrsMcD: @Happygal: I'm pretty sure sperm gets washed with IVF too. It is definitely processed when ICSI is involved. The embryologist will select the best sperm to implant into the egg.

@MrsTal: It makes me solo sad that money is ever an issue for IF treatments.......I know @bluestrippedbee would agree!!!!!!
Have you had any genetic testing? I am sorry if you have answered this before?

@Leialou: that makes sense to me. How are you doing? Still feeling positive?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Happygal: Ummm.... *raises hand* .... I did the same thing on Tuesday night. Researching "morphology" like a madwoman.
pomelo / 5000 posts
@MrsMcD: girl. We should have some kind of "I'm spinning out into crazy IF orbit" hotline. You know what got me started? On Pinterest, my sister pinned an e-card about being pregnant and something about books to help your child transition to being an older sibling. I thought this must mean she's pregnant, so I looked at her pictures online to see if she looks pregnant. (All three of my sisters have kids--nine grandchildren total!) And I was then convinced my other friend is pregnant and I thought about not wanting to be pregnant at the same time as her. I cringe just typing that out b/c it sound outrageous and juvenile, but I'm being honest!
clementine / 901 posts
@CupQuakeWalk: Honestly, I do believe it's unexplained because I see the doctor's point about the male factor issues, if it was more than his morphology then it could be male factor. But it does suck, thank you!
@bhbee: That is a great number! Fingers crossed that it doubles by Friday!
@Kelli_Deluxe: We did an unmonitored cycle of clomid w/ TI with our old RE and then an IUI with clomid with the new RE. Clomid only increases our chances about 3% but we could try it for a little while. Our new RE wants to mointor you on clomid (which is as it should be) but that part is expensive.
@MrsMcD: Welcome! Was the 8% on the WHO scale or Krueger? 8% is actually really good if it was Krueger. We've actually already done a round of IUI but it only increases our chances like 8%, since we have unexplained infertility, those odds don't make me feel great about pursuing that option. We are really against taking on debt as well but we could probably pay for the majority out of pocket by the fall if we cut back and do some serious saving. I'm just not sure I want to do that.
@mrswin: The only markers I have for endo are painful periods. I've had an HSG and it was clear. I need to have an SHG done before we pursue IVF. I feel you about being at this a long time. It's been 2 years and I just feel ready to move on. If money was no issue I would start IVF tomorrow because the 65% odds make me happy.
@Happygal: My only endo "symptoms" are painful periods (but they aren't that bad according to my doctor when I described the pain) ibprofen and a heating pad usually help me get through the day. Today when we left my husband said he'd like to try the IUIs but he was sure he'd change his mind after he thought about it more, so he's about as unsure as I am. We are going to talk more about it tonight.
@CatchAFallingStar: I missed the update on your thread! Congratulations!
pomelo / 5000 posts
@MrsTal: I had a lap and they found endo. I didn't have that bad of periods, although I did when I was younger. My main symptom was a pain in a consistent area, my family history, and the fact that I haven't gotten pregnant yet! I'm really glad I had the surgery. Wish I could reach through and give you a hug tonight--I can hear how tired you are in your posts. Can you enjoy a glass of wine in your reading room?
pea / 21 posts
@mrsmcd - I know an IUI thread too! How do I ever get anything done!
@happygal - I am doing okay, thanks for asking! I'm not really letting my hopes get up since I ovulated on the wrong side, so I've been telling myself all of my 'symptoms' are from the progesterone. FX for you!! This has been a good month for testing
bananas / 9628 posts
@PurplePumps: long cycles are so frustrating! you feel like you have fewer opportunities to try since they come around less often. but yay for a shorter cycle! 35 days is great! would a shorter trip still throw off your treatment schedule?
@CupQuakeWalk: thank you, i appreciate your positivity! i'm a very independent person & it's hard for me to need/accept help, but you're right we have a lost of positive progress to be happy about. also, in positive progress news, i'm going back to school! not full time, but part time, i only work part time, so i figure why not?! i think finishing my degree will help me to feel more independent
@MrsTal: it must be so hard to decide how to go forward when you haven't gotten a clear idea of what the problem is! that's tough. would a second opinion be an option?
@lazypanda: thank you hooray for a great progesterone level!
@bhbee: you have every reason to feel anxious, but today, right now, your number looks great and that is a beautiful thing.
@Mrs. Jacks: thank you!!
@EmilyE:
@Happygal: thank you for calling my uterus quirky, that sounds so much better than 'uninhabitable' which is how my brain was describing it so glad you have a helpful family member as well, i can't imagine paying OOP for everything! i have my fingers, toes & everything in between crossed for you! this thread seems full of good luck, hoping some of that goes your way!
@FaithFertility: thank you!
oh man, i just typed all that one handed because a kitten is asleep in the other the kittens make all the waiting easier, they make me so happy! also, the weather was awesome today & it's amazing what a difference in mood i feel when it's nice & i have a chance to be outside enjoying it hope everyone else had a beautiful day too!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@Happygal: oh I was ready two cycles ago, but dh wanted to try the iui per the doctors recommendation.
@FaithFertility: yeah, if I could count on it being only 35 days consistently I might be up for natural cycles, but my last 4 natural were 42-48 days. Even before BC it was rarely less than 40.

@mrs. bird: I just want to give you a big hug! When we were trying to decide what to do next with my last OB, my mom offered to pay for my HSG, if that was what we really wanted to do, because the fact that I would have to pay out of pocket was killing me. I felt just like you do Then I thought, well she really just wants to help, and this is one way that she can, and that someday when I'm a mother I will probably understand...and then I got all sad abut how I may never become a mother...a viscous cycle it all is Just know, if she is offering, it's because she wants to help, and, you are NOT alone!
apricot / 390 posts
@MrsTal: Oh the money I wish I had $100,000 around...so we could just skip to IVF, and I could grant it to a few of you around here. We're not at that stage yet, but I know that if we get there, it just isn't going to be an option for us for quite a while
apricot / 390 posts
@MrsMcD: Welcome, both glad and pissed to see you here If I remember right, we've been at this for about the same amount of time, and its nice to see another relative newbie around these parts...but then again I'm rather agitated that any of us need to be here at all Welcome

@MrsMcD: Welcome!
@lazypanda: That sounds like a great progesterone level! I hope this is the one!
@mrswin: I'm still hoping to catch up to you for that June/July IVF cycle...after my appt on 5/15, which should be CD2-3 (although I missed a few days temping, so it's impossible to be sure)!
@mrs. bird: I'm glad that you're going to go ahead with your surgery. I think that's the call I would have made under the circumstances. Hopefully after your recovery period, you'll be pregnant in no time!
@MrsTal: I'm sorry your WTF appointment wasn't more enlightening. It sounds like IVF would be a totally reasonable option...of course, with "unexplained" IF (me too), you never know whether something else might suffice... I too am fed up with waiting and not having any idea how much longer I might have to wait... I also don't like the idea of attempting the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results...but that's exactly how some folks get their . Stupid, stupid IF. Now I'm just ranting. I wish I had any advice at all... I really wish you didn't have the financial calculus to worry about. Are you at all inclined to borrow money for IVF?
@Happygal: Sorry that you had a rough time over the weekend. FX that we're all going to emerge on the othe other side of IF any day now! Look to all these nice pregnant bees in our midst!
We'll make it happen!
@bhbee: Hooray! That's a great number!!! FX for more good news in a couple of days!
@PurplePumps: I second the thought of maybe taking a smaller va-cay now, continuing your cycle, and maybe taking a bigger, better vacation when you're pregnant? I don't think unmedicated IUIs provide much benefit over regular TI, though. Good luck!

@MrsMcD: welcome! all the ladies on here are super supportive. I hope your stay is brief, but if not, we're a great group!
@happygal: how about you and I both update, that way, if I'm out for awhile and the thread gets longer, one of us can still keep the list going without having to switch between too many pages? We've got another week of getting by!
@MrsTal: I'm sorry about the WTF appt. Do what you feel is right for you. Or, as you can tell from above, I make a lot of lists, so I would probably make a pros and cons list about the options.
@catchafallingstar: woohoo! Sounds like an awesome due date! If I get a BFP, my due date would be 1/21/15.
@faithfertility: glad to see you're around! how is your little sticky bean?
@bhbee: yay for the high betas! FX for both you and @Kelli_Deluxe:
@CupQuakeWalk: when will you be doing IUI? and yay for insurance covering that!

By the way, for all the ladies, if you don't want some of the info there, please let me know, and I can add/delete the info.
