Hmm.... can I not work at all but put the kids in daycare?

I think I would prefer to work but part time would be nice. 15 hrs per week perhaps? Three short days.

    I'd like to work Tues-Thurs, 10-2, so 12 hours a week, ha!

@Charm54: this might be daft, but I can't imagine how job sharing works as a teacher. I don't know how it would work, imagining my job as it is!

@regberadaisy: same here - 30 hrs and leave early to pick up the kids from school.

I work two 10 hour days now but would love to just work two 7-8 hour days.

I know this is an older thread but I'm about to go back to work and will be doing twenty hours over three days a week. I'd still prefer to be at home with my kids but I'm going to make enough $$ that it's worth it!

I work a rotation of 4 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off. I think it's actually pretty idea, but if I could pick, I'd do 3 on 4 off, 4 on 5 off. I hate working the sets of 5 it's way too much ( longer days then standard ) but I love having 5 off!

I'd work 9-3 four days per week. My wife took Fridays off through my whole mat leave and it was amaaaaazing

20-25 would be amazing. I've always thought of that as ideal especially when I had those hours as a grad student.

I would love to just work one 12 hour shift a week instead of 3!
