I'd say my style is light, bright, and colorful cottage. Feminine, but simple lines and comfy.

In my previous (pre marriage) house, my decorating style was mid-century boho chic. Lots of print mixing, lots of color, and the furniture was mid century. Kind of like the first picture.
But my husband hated it. HIS style was typical "Rooms to go" style with overstuffed puffy couches, bland, etc. (second picture) I hated it.
So after we bought our current place after marriage, we've been compromising on a kind of unisex modern style (third picture) that I plan to dress up later (as money allows) with some glam touches (4th picture).

I guess mine would be kind of colonial/cottage/traditional/feminine/comfort..... I really have no idea what the terminology is when it comes to design, but I do know what I like! A lot of white, beige, and cream.
