I hope my poll options make sense?!

I have 14 weeks of accrued sick/vacation leave and am eligible for 12 weeks FMLA.

Last time I took 12 weeks of maternity leave. I used 12 weeks of sick/vacation leave, so I was paid the entire time. My HR department had me submit FMLA paperwork, so I used FMLA concurrently. My husband doesn't think I should have had to use FMLA leave since I had enough paid leave to cover the time I was out.

Thoughts? Experiences? I will obviously check with HR, but it would be nice to save the FMLA leave for later in the year (or use a combination of the two) in case I had a need for unpaid leave later in the year.
