We're on our 3rd IUI (one with injectibles, one with Tamoxifen, this one unmedicated - it's backwards, I know) and have also done a round of IVF.

So far just three rounds of Clomid (all 50mg). Up next is our first IUI cycle (which will be with Letrozole and Ovidrel).

We did 4 cycles of clomid and 2 of femara, all with TI. Then we did two IUIs with injectibles (follistim). Hopefully next time we can jump straight to IUI with follistim.

Acupuncture & Herbs (one BFP that ended in m/c)
Naturopath: herbs, supplements (another BFP ending in m/c)Now trying testing, diet changes, and maybe drugs and/or supplements depending on what the tests find.
We'll probably do a few more months with the ND since I apparently am able to get pregnant. If I have more m/cs or no luck, then we'll likely head to an RE. At this point, I don't think IUI or IVF will make a difference for me since its the sticking that is a problem.

@Mrs.Someone: Do you think that any of the meds that are associated with the IUI or IVF process would have an affect on the "sticking"? I just wonder if medication is another variable in this crazy process, you know? I wouldn't want you to feel like those options are out if you do get to that point.

@sweetooth: I suppose they could be, but couldn't the meds be used without IUI/IVF then? I don't feel like they aren't options, it just feels like they are unnecessary in my case.

I have done 5 total IUIs with 2 of them cancelled due to cysts. 4 of them with Femara and 1 with injectibles (menopur and granilex with a hcg trigger). I am currently doing acupuncture and am getting ready for my first round of IVF.

@Mrs.Someone: You mean the meds could be paired with something like timed intercourse? I suppose.

Two rounds of clomid-- one at 50mg for 5 days and one at 100mg for 10 days.

@sweetooth: Honestly I don't really know much about the typical fertility treatments! I think we're going to consult with an RE once I have all my test results to see what they would recommend, but I'm pretty sure we'll stick with the ND for a few more months.

IVF was our only option for getting pregnant and we were very lucky that it worked on our first round!

I am on metformin. I am also going to acupuncture. We have done one IUI with 50mg of clomid (unsucessful) and are in the middle of our second 50mg clomid with IUI.

3 rounds 100mg clomid and hcg trigger shots
moving on to femara and iui this cycle (fx!) -
2 IUIs with Clomid, 1 IUI with injectables, 1 IVF with 175 Gonal F, 1 frozen embryo transfer, 1 successful IVF with 250 Gonal F. And a partridge in a pear tree.

6 cycles Clomid 100mg
2 cycles IUI w/Gonal-F & hcg trigger shot - last one successful! -
3 cycles of clomid plus iui, I believe once with ovidrel and 2 without.... One successful ivf.

Just acupuncture and herbs if that counts. Got a bfp, but then mc.
Will be moving on to Follistim in Sept. if not preg. by then. They don't "do" clomid here. ::sigh::
