...what did you do with your single stroller? We have a practically brand new Chicco single stroller and an umbrella stroller. I'm going to guess we will need a double stroller though. I would hate to sell it since it was barely a year ago we paid a ton for it, and we won't get that much back for it. I'd be sad to get rid of it, actually...but what would be the point in keeping it? Did you get rid of your single stroller to get a double? Or did you keep it?

Right now, we have a double, a single jogging and a single umbrella. Sometimes it's easier to just take out the single and babywear the younger one.

@SAHM0811: Good point. I never baby wore much with LO but I guess I never found something comfortable for me. Maybe this next time around!

I have been thinking htis too. We have a single cheapy $60 umbrella and a more expensive jogger. I read on an old thread some suggest wearing one and the other in the stroller.
I looked at doubles this past weekend and there are some bad-a double strollers out there!

I love that you're asking all the questions I'm thinking! I plan to keep both our single strollers (travel system/umbrella) as well as get a double. Then I can baby wear if I want and also they can go in separate strollers if DH is with me.

@matador84: I was browsing double strollers too! We won't have a ton to spend but there is this one that does a ton of different options and I thought that was pretty cool.

@Bao: which one? i like the city mini tandem as an affordable option. the bugaboo donkey was amazing--but at 1100....um...not so sure, but i'm sure if it was worth the investment MIL would gift it. just not sure if that's the best place to spend the money!

I bought a Britax B-Ready juuuuust in case we decide to have a second because it could be both a double and a single stroller (even though I was pretty sure that we would be one and done).

@matador84: I forgot the brand but it's just a basic like Graco or Evenflo it was around $200 maybe a little less. I'm sure there are fancier ones but that won't happen.

We don't have a double stroller yet... still thinking about it. If we do get one I'll probably keep the single because LO doesn't like going in the stroller so I'd probably still use the single more then the double. I just want a double for longer trips..... but I'm still not set on it.

We have two doubles (a double BOB and a Britax B-ready) as well as one single stroller. The single is nice to have for when we aren't going far and DD can walk. I wouldn't get rid of your single stroller, however I don't think I could exist without a double stroller.

we plan on keeping ours. we won't always have both children with us. i may take DS out and #2 stay home with daddy, or vice versa. no point in a double then! and after DS is big enough where we don't need the stroller for him, we'll have the single for #2

I don't plan on buying a double stroller until I need it. Hoping to wear the baby in the Ergo and have my toddler sit in the umbrella stroller. Quite honestly, we don't use our stroller very often, and he usually walks when we're out of the house. I do have a bulky stroller that is just sitting in my attic. I should sell it because I don't see myself using it again.
