I would get rid of the sea of beige carpet! Our entire house is coevered in it (minus the bathrooms and kitchen). Our house was built in the early 1900's and nice hardwood floors would look so much better, but we may need to win the lottery first.

Our dinning room origianlyl was a sunk in dinning room. They leveled it off and they didnt do it the best way possible. I wish it were done the correct way, or better way I shoudl say. Prob going to do it next year..but just a pin to deal with and wish it were done the better way the first time.

Wish we had a bigger 2nd bathroom. Our 2nd "full-sized" bathroom is pretty teeny I wish we could expand it to one with double sinks... but I heard (from HGTV) that bathroom renovations cost a ridiculous amount of money.

I'd like a second bedroom and bathroom in the same location for the same rent, please. Then if I'm being greedy, I also want a gas stove. And nicer counters.

I wish our two upstairs bedrooms were the same (or similar) size.

I wish we had a dry, finished basement or I'd be equally happy if our two car garage was a three car garage.

I wish we had 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. Instead we only have 2 upstairs and 3 downstairs so we can't all be on the same floor.

Our current rental home... I wish we had off-street parking for 2 cars instead of one and/or I wish we had a fireplace.
Our home is the states? I wish it had a master suite.

I want two more bedrooms. One so we could have enough for the number of children I want, and one for a playroom.

I wish the previous owners had taken better care of it. There's so much damage to repair!

@Minnie_Girl: That's how I feel about our house in the states. We inherited it from DH's dad when he passed away and it's a wreck and very, very dated.

Mainly I just wish our apartment was finished better. Whoever did it did kind of a sloppy job in places. Also our windows are single pane and they get mildewy if I'm not careful....
We won't be here for too much longer though I hope, even though I actually really enjoy living here. This is the first place we've lived in that has really felt like our own home.
