I really liked my Freestyle, and felt it was worth paying the extra $100 that my insurance didn't cover. I liked that I could move around and I thought it worked really well. I was worried about the power since it was battery operated, but I only ever needed to use it on one of the lower settings.
I will say that that the "portability" of it isn't really reality. Yes, the pump is light and can go in your purse. But you still need a ton of stuff to go with it. At a minimum you need pumping bottles, flanges, tubing, and hands-free bra. I also found I needed a burp cloth (lots of dripping, spilling, etc) and carried a thing of bags and pump to bag adaptors. So anyways, I ALWAYS needed the giant bag to carry all the crap you need.

I vote Hygeia! I had it with DD1 and am still using it for DD2 - works as good as new and they are 29 months apart. Love that you can adjust the speed and suction separately and they are a closed system meaning that the motor itself will never ever come in contact with milk. I was able to lend the pump to a friend (who just had to buy the accessory set) and not worry about cross contamination. It's bulky but, like PP said, I liked to sit back and relax during pumping so it didn't matter. The Medela pump parts work with it and I actually prefer them - cheaper and easier to find!

My insurance company lets me pick too Does the overall consensus seem to be Medala Freestyle over PISA?

@MrsBananaGrabber: in my opinion, yes! The Freestyle is battery operated and portable. And the battery lasts for a few days, so it works really well!

@MrsBananaGrabber: For me, yes! I found I pumped more with it than with my PISA, plus the benefits of it being cordless (I was an EPer, so I was pumping A LOT).
Having said that, since I have a Freestyle I think this time around I want a Fremie.
