Let's pretend we live in a magical world where all babies STTN 12 hours of our choosing. Which 12 hours would you choose?
I'd pick 8-8. Dh would pick 6-6!

7 to 7, for sure
I'd get 3 hours after she went to bed, and to feel like I slept in a bit (I mean, someday I"ll be the kind of person that gets up before my kid, but today is not that day. And tomorrow probably isn't either.)

6-6, only because we have to get up then for work! On weekends, I'd take 8:30-8:30

7-7, but really I would settle for just a solid 6 hours while I get some sleep.

7-7 even though I have to wake him up at 6:15am to get ready for daycare. On the weekends, 9-9 would be FANTASTIC!

6:30 - 6:30, which is what I get between the two kids give or take 30 min either way.

@loveisstrange: that's awesome! LO will only sleep 12hrs max, so I shouldn't complain...though a little lie in some mornings would be amazing!
I vote 7-7. The last couple of weeks have been more like 6:30-6:30, which is a little early to wake up for me, but when the clocks move forward next month we will be on a 7:30-7:30 schedule hopefully, which is better.

@illumina: The flip side is that she does not nap. She will only nap if she wakes up too early.

Weekdays: 7-6:30 (which he does now, bless his heart), Weekends: 8-8 would be nice.

@illumina: Honestly, I really thinks so. She's actually napping right now though! It's rare now.

DS has only slept 12 hours overnight once in his little 17 month old life. But since we are talking about a magical world, I would say 8-8.

8P - 8A, which she was doing for awhile... now it's more like 9P - 830A.

7-7 because we need to leave the house by 7:30 for daycare. on weekends i would like 8-8

7:30-7:30. We'd still get adult time in the evenings and I can handle waking up then. Before 7:30 and I'm not so happy.
5:45, like this morning? No bueno.

I would also like 8-8! Right now she usually sleeps 7:30- 6:30 ish depending on the day. Overall I can't complain. My biggest issue it that I need to go to bed earlier!

I hate to say it, but 6-6. With our schedules DH often has to drop her off at daycare at 6:30. This means I never really see them though. If I could change my work hours, I'd want her to sleep 7-7.

7-7, which we have gotten in the recent past, and I hope becomes our new normal!

8-8. Right now we usually get 7:30-7:30, so I'm very grateful. We're pretty close to our ideal. Napping is another story...

6:30-6:30, which is what I have already. Even though the mornings are a bit rough, I love having a lot of downtime at night.

7:30-7:30, although I would miss spending quality time with LO during the week.

9-9. Right now he sleeps from 8-9ish, so we're good!

7-7, which is pretty close to real life. If we can just get rid of that one wake up, we'd be good!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
8-8. I like "sleeping in" and when I go back to work, there will be a couple hours with her after work and enough time to shower before she gets up.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
7:30-7:30 would be great. He usually does 7:30-6:30. He rarely sleeps 12 hours at night. It's mostly 10.5 or 11.
