Mine would be a Aden and Anais nursing cover. They are the perfect weight and size, I just need a strap. Hmmm I bet I could make that!

@singingbee: They have one! http://www.amazon.com/Biloop-Cry-Translator/dp/B00I95W1M8 I just saw a mom to be pin it on Pinterest, now I don't know if it works, but it says 90% of it is accurate
I would love the whining silencer...that would be wonderful for car rides! (hope it would work on pets too haha)

@T.H.O.U.: I saw a strap in BBB that 'turns any blanket into a nursing cover'. It was just a short strap with clips on each end. I always just tucked the A&A blanket into my bra strap because I'm super classy.
I would invent my perfect high chair. DH and I have discussed it at length. It would be made of smooth, non porous but soft material, like the OXO sprout, with a hard shell outside, so you could wipe it down easily. It would be able to be used as a hook on chair or a free standing one, you could buy different bases that it would snap into, like you can with a car seat onto a stroller or whatever. The tray would be semi circular so when babies put their arm out to the side and drop stuff, it would stay on the tray. And the standing base would be adjustable height so you could have it at a table or counter, and come in different finishes to match your home-- tradition wood, modern stainless steel...
See? Told you we have discussed it at length.

@T.H.O.U.: they have nursing cover straps on etsy that look awesome. An a&a and a strap is my game plan for #2.
@septca: they have this! Don't know if it works with older children though.

I would invent a safe decongestant for babies. I feel so bad when my daughter has a bad cold and I can't give her anything to help her.

@CupQuakeWalk: @MamaMoose: World. Changed.
I need this immediately.

@MamaMoose: They have it, in Europe. i think the issue is really dosage, you have to measure it out in 7-15 droplets depending on age.

@looch: hhhmhh.... you might have to scout some out for me next time you go visit the in-laws!
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
@MamaMoose: My husband was just on a business trip there and I asked him to bring back a bottle...it's sold out everywhere! I am going to see if it's back in stock when my inlaws visit in July, I'll ask for two bottles.

@MamaMoose: that'd be awesome!! I'd love something that can extract the chest mucous bc that phlemy cough is just heartbreaking!!! Then he coughs it up but swallows it right back down. fail.

@looch: Do you know what its called? My sister is in the UK for a couple more weeks and I would love to see if there is anything I should ask her to grab for me!

Baby legs with attached feet. I love the baby legs for ease of diaper changes, but hated having his feet exposed. My sister and I have actually talked about how to make/trademark/market. Shark Tank, here we come, ha ha ha!

@littlebug: Ooh! good one! Make sure there are non-skid parts on the bottom of the feet!

@T.H.O.U.: It's called Arbid, it comes in a tiny brown glass bottle with a green label.

The magical machine that makes the baby sleep 12 hours at night!

@MamaMoose: wow I never knew there wasn't a decongestant for babies in the US. We always get a prescription for it when LO has a cold.

Some kind of car seat for a golf cart that would protect the baby from golf balls. My hubs would never have an excuse not to watch our one-day baby on his days off from work.

Something that holds the paci in until they aquire the ability to put it back in themselves. I pretty much spent 50% of months 2-5 holding her paci in her mouth while she was trying to fall asleep....gah!

I totally need all of these products.
At our house we need to invent a way to make baby eat even when she's being stubborn. Maybe some food drops that make all food it touches irresistible.

@MrsMcD: Hahah LOVE this! I keep telling DH he can take our LO out golfing with him -- just wear him in the BabyBjorn like in The Hangover

@septca: there's this thing called a poo-poose, it's a curved pad with thick, wide, soft straps. It's been pretty miraculous in our house. LO still screams a bit but it's better than chasing a flipping, rolling, crawling, poo-covered baby!

I would love some sort of pumping/feeding thing that allows me to drive and feed the baby at the same time. I'm no good at planning travel time around his feedings.....
And something to stop my 2 year old in his tracks when he's doing something naughty (and I mean anything from running into the street to not listening to me say "don't go into the pantry again!)

A rotating convertible car seat, so that you're strapping LO in facing the outside door, rather than contorting yourself around the seat, wrestling a strong toddler into the straps. Then you could just turn the seat 90 degrees and it would be rear-facing! It'd be perfect for 2 door cars too, you could strap LO in forward facing, then turn the seat 180 degrees and be rear facing!

Some kind of bib that is long and attaches to the high chair tray so you don't get nasty bits of food that fall into the crack between the bib and the tray...does that make sense? I push the tray really tight against LO's bib but crap STILL gets down in there and it's a freakin' mess.

@NorCalWayfarer: This is no joke, but the very day I wrote post on this thread, my DH sent me pictures of a guy golfing with a baby bjorn-like thing strapped to him. "Anything for golf." haha. This can't be safe though.
