How long did your LO cry on the first night? We started tonight ... she cried for 1 hour 12 minutes and is asleep now ...... but I swear I was right on the verge of caving in and "rescuing" her. (I'm not sure I'll make it if she wakes up any time soon!)

The first night was brutal! 1 hour and 3 minutes here. I'd told DH that at the hour and ten minute mark if he was still crying I was going to get him. I was shocked when he stopped and was asleep!!
It got so much better though so have hope
night 2 was only 18 minutes and night 3 was 2 minutes!

i was sure she'd cry for hours, but it was only about 30 min the first night, 20 the second, and 3 the third.

we were all over the place and it was not a linear progression. the first night, LO spent a couple of hours intermittently crying and fussing while learning to suck his thumb. then i think he consistently fussed/cried for an hour on subsequent nights, and after a week or so made it down to 15-20 minutes. we had relapses though.
sleep training was a very, very slow process for us.

45 mins, then multiple wake ups throughout the night were around 30 mins each.

Our first night was 40 minutes and it was brutal. I made the mistake of doing checks and it made LO even more mad. The first few days are tough but it gets much easier!! We sleep trained at 6 months. LO now goes down without an issue and STTN.

First night was 25 minutes but ever since then she is out within 2 minutes.
night 2 was only 18 minutes and night 3 was 2 minutes!
