Not quite there yet but R is 6.5 months old and we are NTNP right now to see if we can naturally conceive. If nothing has happened by April we will make an appointment for a FET in May or June.

@brady80: like you, it took us two ivfs and an fet to get pregnant. I am still 36 weeks with that one but my tentative plan is to ntnp until about a year after birth then pursue ivf. DH thinks we should try longer to conceive naturally I think, but I just don't see the point. Maybe if I had unexplained infertility I might be wiling to give it more of a "college try" but my endo makes natural conception very difficult.

Ivf was successful first try with twins. Now, I am pregnant without any treatments. We had already decided if we couldn't get pregnant without help, we would be happy with our two. Go figure. We had no known issues though, unexplained. I'm guessing pregnancy cleared up any tube issues that they said I didn't have.

Me and DH talk aboit this a lot, we have yet to have a LO but we said after we do we will NTNP and then if my cycles are reguar try 5 months before going RE route!!!

I'm still in the very early stages of pregnancy as the result of my first round of IVF. We had to do PGD on our embryos, so it was an FET 1 month after retrieval. Out of 8 embryos we only had 1 good one.
I have a chromosomal abnormality that makes natural conception of a viable/healthy child slim to none. So we will always have to prevent natural conception and rely on IVF w/PGD OR adoption.
I'm only about 5 weeks and I'm already worrying about the odds of getting one more good embryo in a couple years. Or in a couple of months if this one doesn't stick. Right now in my mind I'm prepared to go the adoption route.

IVF worked for us and we have a 16 mo. old son. Since I only have one tube left and it is filled with fluid, we have no choice but to do IVF again for a 2nd baby. It was so expensive the first time and unfortunately we didn't have any frozen embryos, so we'd have to start all over again (another $15,000 or more) so that is what has held us back. If it weren't for the steep cost and lower chances of success (I'll be 37 this summer) we would have already done it. I'm so happy we were successful and have our miracle baby, but still am sad that we'd have to go through IVF all over again to have a 2nd baby. Not sure what we'll do.
