Hellobee Boards

Hmmm... I haven't really thought about this. We might get one, but I may just let them use my phone (depending on what kind of phone I have). Currently I don't have a smart phone and we don't have texting plans and I honestly don't use the phone that much, so I could see myself just letting my kids use my phone to make calls (or Hubs phone if he's not on call). But if I have a smart phone, I might be less inclined to do that and then I'd have to get a landline (or maybe just another non-smart phone as a "family" phone).

We are thinking about it. I don't like the idea of us both being gone at dinner or something and maybe the babysitter's phone has died, etc etc... I also don't want to buy my kid a cell phone when they are 10, so a land line will probably be a must. But at the same time...kids don't seem to really call people, so maybe just having internet access and access to my cell will be enough? We will just have to play it by ear.
