We use the Zipadeezip which works great to keep her hands warm but she can still chew on them

I used sleep sacks. But I think for babies you don't necessarily go by the feel of their hands. Is her chest cold? I think I remember reading that their circulation is not as good as adults so their hands often feel cold even if they are warm enough. We keep our home and 70 too and my boys have been ok with the sleep sacks.

We used sleep sacks some, and also switched to fleece pj's early. I do remember someone (pediatrician? Nurses at hospital? My mom? Can't remember) telling me hands are not a good indicator of warmth and cold hands are ok. I always felt her core areas when she was little, and now too, to get a sense of whether she needs more layers.

We have a space heater to keep her room at 68 degrees and we put her in a footed sleeper and a fleece sleep sack. When we first started unswaddling her I felt the same way-- that her hands were freezing! But they aren't now 2 months later (although I just realized that when I read your post). I wonder if their bodies learn to regulate temperature better or something when they have to? Not sure but I know that at first her hands were freezing every morning and now they are not.

We used fleece sleepers, and if it was really cold (like the times that our furnace broke), we co slept.

My daughters hands are always freezing. As long as their chest is warm you're good! She only sleeps in a sleeper (she's 10 months, been Unswaddled since 3 mos). She even sleeps on her Tummy with her hands underneath her and they're still cold!

I actually knew immediately she had a fever (104) last week because her hands were on fire!!!
