What did you wear in the tub? I can't figure out what to pack for it. I might just bring a large shirt for it, cause I don't think I want to deal with a bathing suit top or anything...I'm pretty sure I won't want to be totally naked...but who knows how I'll feel in the moment, lol.

I was naked, but it was only Mr SH, my midwife and a nurse so it was really private,

I didn't have a water birth, but I did labor in the tub for a while. I hadn't thought about packing anything for that, and I remember asking the midwife at one point what to do. She shrugged and said that most women just go au naturel (sp?). By the time I was ready to get in the tub, I could not have cared less about being naked.

I have a bikini top packed for mine, but I've seen Mamas in tank tops, naked (usually), a bra, big tee shirts... anything goes.

@arden: a tank top sounds ideal...I don't wear them in normal life, but it might be comfy enough for the tub. I was also thinking about a thin tshirt. I don't own a bikini top and I don't really want to go out and buy one for the occasion.

I would wear a lycra style nursing bra.
