I was on progesterone pills the first trimester, and went off of them when I was 13 weeks. DS ended up being an IUGR baby so I was induced at 37 weeks.

Subscribing. This is what my OB wants to do next time too.

I also took suppositories due to a shortened cervix. I started them just shy of 25 weeks, and I'm 29 weeks now. At my last cervix check, my cervix actually increased .4mm and they determined it wasn't necessary for me to come in every other week for check-ins anymore. (This was a huge relief for me!). I've still been instructed to continue with the suppositories until 36 weeks. I guess there's a slight chance that you increase your likelihood of going into labor early if you stop to treatment early. In addition to the progesterone, I've been on "light duty," as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the progress I've made. Things were a little crazy at first...the medication caused a roller coaster of emotions for me, but after 2 weeks they allowed me to start taking half-doses and I feel like myself again.

D was 8 weeks early. For S I didn't get progesterone and went into labor at 39 weeks. For M I was on weekly 17 p shots from weeks 20-34. I didn't go ibto labor and had my scheduled section at 39 weeks.
