If you had to have them later in pregnancy to help prevent preterm labor, did your insurance cover them? Was it denied at first? If they were not covered what was the cost?

I was prescribed Makena and so far United Healthcare has denied them. My Dr. office is appealing it and we are hoping to get an approval next week. But in the mean time I have called UHC and the cost to me would be $4000 per month! That is not even an option for us to be able to afford. I read online why it is so expensive and it is infuriating.
