We had a huge Thanksgiving lunch, and while I love leftovers, I wasn't up for having it again so soon. We're visiting family in a smallish city in Louisiana, so there wasn't much open. Luckily, DH and I found a Waffle House that was open! It was sooo yummy! Now I am officially stuffed. If you had Thanksgiving food for lunch, what are you having for dinner??

My father in law just went out to Whataburger for fast food for dinner. Im not eating anything though. I'm still full from lunch!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: there was a Whataburger across the street from Waffle House and I noticed it was open...that was going to be our second choice if Waffle House was closed!

Growing up we used to have leftovers for dinner. Its not the traditional thanksgiving meal, we always have a big brunch with bagels, lox, lunch meat and cheese, noodle kugel, all sorts of yummy stuff. My mom would get a turkey, maybe some cranberries fir dinner, but the rest would just be leftovers from brunch. We had so many people over throughout the day so she had no time to cook again.
Now I go to my in laws for the real deal, while my family carries on eating leftovers at home.

Nothing. There was nothing for me to eat at Thanksgiving lunch (i'm a vegetarian and they just don't get it, and get offended if I bring my own food) and dinner is just leftovers...I wish I had thought ahead and got myself a frozen pizza or something. I think this is our last Thanksgiving at the in-laws for a while.
