I donated or sold most of our 0-6 month girls stuff...so I'll need to rebuy if we have another girl!

A lot of DS's infant clothes were given to me by a friend who's son is now 10! So...they're pretty yellow. I'm sure there's a few nice outfits that I bought that we can still use.

We gave all my daughter's stuff to my niece who was exactly a year younger with the understanding that they would send it back if we had another girl. Then my SIL and I ended up both due a week apart with our second. I was worried we would both have girls! I didn't want to ask for the clothes back when she could use them too. But it turned out we both had boys! So she's just holding on to them for when a friend has a girl or something. We are both done after two so we don't need them. With my son I plan to donate or sell all his stuff as he outgrows it.

I've used our clothes for both girls, but I'm keeping it all again since we'd like more kids. I do think I'll go through with more of a discerning eye when/if we're expecting again because some of it is getting tired.

i saved it all because i had the oldest girl in the group of my friends, with the next 3 weeks younger (with hand me downs from 2 older cousins!) and the following 3 were boys! so useful to have everything on hand. with this girl, i'm passing on hand me downs (except my favorite favorites) to another GF, but we all run in the same circle, so girl or boy for the 3rd kid, the clothes will come back to me!

I saved everything from ds1. Ds 2 grew so fast he barely even went through ds1 stuff so dd is wearing some and thank goodness I got a lot of hand me down from grandmas at work for dd. Im saving both sexes good stuff for SIL future baby or if my friend has a boy.

Saved everything from LO1 and now purging as much as I can with LO2. We're two and through.

I saved everything from my boy but since #2 is a girl I gave away and sold a ton except for my favorites. My girl now wears her brothers clothes only at home. It's actually super cute to see her in them when he was just wearing them the year before! I still have a bin for each year, each gender, saved for when my brother has kids.

I saved everything in good shape with DD1. We are having another girl, they will be 27 months apart and close to se season but not exact. I'll definitely use what I can from DD1 but I've bought some new stuff, too both because we will need it but also because it's fun to shop and as the middle I always got hand me downs and thought it was so unfair! I don't want DD2 to feel that way.

I knew I would probably have more than one child, so after DS would outgrow a size, I would put all the clothes in a big storage container. When I found out I was pregnant with my second boy, I was happy to have all the clothes saved so I could reuse them. I still bought a few new outfits, but I reused as much as I could (some things weren't season appropriate). As my second outgrows his clothes, I'm keeping the items that are still in good condition and donating things that look more worn. DH and I are considering having a third, so if it's a boy again, I will be all set.

i gave away some newborn and 3-6 months stuff, but also kept some. and since then have kept everything. so i bought a few new newborn things (and have also been gifted quite a bit of newborn boy stuff from coworkers), so i think i have more than enough. I will keep it all again for now until we figure out if we are even going to try for a third, leave it to fate, or actively prevent.

I didn't save much at all from DS. One of my coworkers had a boy 5 months after DS was born and I gave her a ton of stuff. We also made two international moves before having our second, so we didn't want to be weighed down. Our second was a girl, so we would have needed lots of new things anyway. Now that we are in the same place for awhile, I save some of the more neutral things, but still sell or donate a lot since we don't have much storage.

Yes I saved everything. I have 2 boys with a third boy on the way. We have lots of clothing between what I bought and what was handed down from my neighbor and my nephew. However between all of those boys some are quite worn so some can't be used again and some I use just for daycare and home play.

We got most of our things as hand me downs from my sister so I saved everything after LO1 because I knew we would try for a second and I wasn't sure what she wanted me to do with everything. After LO2, I got rid of some items I knew we would never use again no matter what. I have not been very good about storing or organizing the clothes that they both are growing out of though so it is all just a big old mess that I need to tackle at some point.

I saved everything. We had two boys, opposite seasons, but one is bigger than the other, so I've been able to re use most of it. I had to buy more for DS2 along the way to fill gaps. Not giving anything away or selling anything -- we would like a 3rd, and I'm destined for all boys It's just all in clear plastic totes in our basement.
