Is this true?
I went to a naturopath because of my constant headaches, and while I was there we talked about my cycles as well. I've been off BCP since March, not TTC yet, but hopefully next year.
My cycles have been in a range of 32-35 days since March, until Sept I had a 39 day cycle, and just this week when AF arrived, my cycle was 47 days.
The naturopath thought I might have low progesterone, based solely on some of the symptoms I had, no testing was done.
I had a doctors appointment yesturday to get her take on my headaches, etc. I brought up my cycles with her, and asked about the low progesterone. She said if I am getting my period, my progesterone can't be that low, and if I'm getting my period, I must be ovulating. I don't track CM or temps, but I think I have EWCM.
I know there are quite a few ladies on here that have been through treatments, and know a LOT more about this stuff than me.
So basically... if I am getting my period, does that mean my progesterone must be fine and I also am likely ovulating?
Any help would be appreciated!!
The only way for you to tell if your cycle was anovulatory is if you were temping and there was no clear, sustained temp shift.
